eh if its in Canada soon like is rumored -- there soon will be more pressure to bring it down here. Problem is the compact truck market has been decimated with Ford and others moving to larger trucks.

But in no cases was the truck actually "cool" or nice with the other automakers, so consumers went for the bigger ones. They were pieces of ****. VW has to produce the truck here to avoid the "chicken tax" (25% of the price of the car -- so a $20k truck has to sell for $25k).. so thats the biggest obstacle.

Right now the Chattanooga plant is overwhelmed with Passats cause of how well they're doing. So it couldn't be built there. They just added 3rd shift workers to keep up

Really let's move to Chattanooga, do you think they offer awesome discounts if you work at the plant, cause I soooooo want a new car, considering my check engine light is back on and I think it's that same coolant performance code it keeps throwing.... Would anyone know what I can do to correct it? I have already replaced the sensor

Ohhh and I love how Bertolet has sent me another letter saying they want my beetle and that they can sell me a new car for about what I'm paying now, so does that mean I can get a new beetle for free, since I don't owe anything

Anyone in the Reading area have a vagcom? I need help ASAP with my sisters car and need it scanned tomorrow. Im praying i can find someone. I just dumped a lot of money into the thing to get it up and running and now after all this work, its still stumbling at idle and threw a code too.

If you still need it scanned, you should try to make it to a GTG there is usually one or two people there with VagCom's

Speaking of, is anyone coming out tonight?? I'm thinking I might be bringing out cupcakes vanilla, chocolate and reeses pieces....

well got pulled over on way home from gtg for my tint fn $111 and was told i must remove every bit of tint from my car because tint on cars is not legal in pa!!!!

but suvs and trucks are allowed to

I heard they changed the law. It used to me 35% and up. Now it is up the the cop to determine if he can see in your car or not, so it just varies from pig to pig.

Yeah I know its bull crap ....tint on a car is a grey area the law states nothing about percentage and leaves it with the cops opinion

I wonder what a cop would do if the car is factory tinted glass since there is a few brand new cars that have it

Very true, that law is dumb because if your in Texas or Florida your windows can be dark as hell, so it's like what if you bought your car from there and it was like that....and us know what sucks too is that you get pulled over and honestly alot of people have tinted windows nowadays...and that place in bernville that couldnt tint my windows cause they suck, they have signs out all over advertising they tint car windows....
But honestly that's why I tinted mine 35% cause you can still see in mine but technically even mine are illegal
What are you gonna do take it off or just hope he doesn't catch you again?

Well technically stock clear untinted glass has a light transmission of 73% and the cops want no less than 70% so since no one sells or makes 97% tint any tint is illegal in there eyes ..... my front windows are tinted with 35% and his meter said 30% so oh well . I still don't know what to do.

About to rip the tint off on the s4. It's got those stupid ct stickers on it and on the driver side there's little holes in the tint.. Dunno how. I like "tasteful" tint on cars.. Not limo status tho
