This **** goes down in a small hide out in the woods behind The Palace.

I had a small car show at the house today, 5 hot vdubs at one point, managed to catch 4 of them paparazzi styles.

Big ups to Matt for helping me with this one. Here are some pics from today's install! First, the supplies:

    1. Corrado Specialist,

    2. Hooch from SoCal, mask, and Borla muffler,

    3. Welder to tack everything in place and a chop saw,

    4. and Joe... err... Matt:

    check!

    And then it went down:

Then thanks to mad v-band action she was off like a prom dress, ready too be seam welded.

    Thats all for tonight kids.

The kinetic kits come with a 3" DP now so that is what i'll be starting from. I just haven't decided on going with a resonator or which muffler to get.

  13. 07-27-2008 03:04 PM #83
Good. I would HIGHLY recommend doing 3" all the way back. Or in my case side.

Im not running a muffler, just a straight thru resonator from Magnaflow just to cut the sound down a little. Open downpipe has made me deaf

Thanks. I'm really excited to see the gains from the 3". When Raven is ready it will be time for a 3" down pipe as well. He'll probably wait till next year as steady progress can be more fun.

And yes, you're drinking it wrong!

The exhaust. The Ruination. The mini keg. The Stone Brewery bottle collection. The jar mug. All signs of a pimp.

    Well done, sir. Very impressive.

PS. I went to Stone on Sunday and had 12th anniversary, Ruination and Levitation fresh off the tap. It was like ale porn. You need to visit again.

You'ld like two hearted it's like the michigan version of stone ipa. Mason Jars man... the pimp hand is too strong for a regular pint glass, they'd be crushed instantly.

That's Matt's car (d-bot). I have it in storage at my place while he's moving to a new place. A quick search by screen name should get you to a ton of awesome threads like this one: http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=3589924
