Thread: Anyone looking for a new MAZDASPEED 6 ??? (Gray w/cloth and no sunroof)

  1. 06-04-2008 10:48 AM #1
Just saw an untitled MAZDASPEED 6 at the Roger Beasly dealership (on 6825 Burnet road) here in Austin - looks good and untitled! I know Penny Burt at this dealer (good Mazda enthusiast salesperson) so if you want details call her at (512) 459-4111

If I remember there were a few CL'rs looking for one of these new - trying to help out on what could be a great summer deal.

Sport Model... that's the one to buy if you want to avoid the extra pounds.

    Good color, too.

I agree, I was shocked when I saw it on the lot this a.m. as I was driving by heading downtown to do some trading. I stopped quick to check it out and it was clean and really sharp - hell I would buy the darn thing myself if I did not already have a car on order for my daily driver. I think the MSRP was around 28k but I know this car will be blown out to any serious buyer.

You're still looking at well north of 3500 pounds - but it's still the model to get - I don't like the GT's leather.

I've contemplated these cars on and off but I haven't seen a comprehensive rear diff mount bracket solution yet.

    Never mind, here's one:

I agree. I played tag for about an hour with a Grey one on the interstate over the weekend, and it looked great.

I have access to aerospace stock titanium if you want to build up a decent bracket!

Nope, nobody's looking. Mazda has known that for a while.

Heck no....you can buy the MS3 below MSRP at all the dealerships here in town - do you always pay what you see as the advertised price???

Not an accurate statement on your part - they were NOT ABLE to sell at MSRP, but they WERE ABLE to sell heavily discounted.

There are 2-3 at a dealer near here. Either they've started selling or they're desperate to unload them!

Some of us prefer toys, especially when you get a lot of them for a little more coin. Grand Touring FTW.

Any insight as to how desperately low they're going? Its been a while since I thought about one of these (the MS3) and didn't know the market was so crappy for them.

Glad to see that someone finally figured out how to fix the problem! Too bad it wasn't Mazda.

End of last month you probably could have hit $250 to $500 over invoice here in town - end of June you could probably do the same, they will tend to blow out units if they have had a low sales month to make goals. If you are a great negotiator you can ALWAYS get a great deal these days - MOST dealerships are dealing right now on almost everything to move units!

On a side note, you can get a new Z06 for invoice here in Austin too!

They have a three dealer network here in town for Mazda that puts out some big numbers each year - I am sure they are near the top in the country for volume.

I have a deal worked out with a local dealer for a white MS3 GT for $100 under invoice. It arrives in port on June 13th and I told them to leave it wrapped up.

But I'm backing out, so if anyone wants it, I told them I'd help them find a buyer
