Seattle scares the willies out of me

0-3 on the west plus it's a 4pm EST game which we have sucked in.

Man, we root for the worst teams.

im glad ive been watching the past few games w/ my dad who gets really pissed so it helps me stay calm. he seriously ripped off his jets shirt and threw it away during the 4th qtr on sunday. it was such a wierd game. first us going for it on 4th instead of kicking the field goal to put us up by 7, then bills trying to pass when they just need to run the clock when we got the fumble return.

Anyone else pissed about the pro bowl selections?!

7 pro bowler's on a team that lost to Oakland and San Fran?!

Yeah, it's kind of crazy. More players than the Giants.

Leon Washington fully deserves to go, though. He's a gamechanger.

As does Jones. One could make an argument for Faneca or Jenkins I suppose. But Brett?! Really?!?!

You don't have to tell me. The Jets D' was rated ~8th in the league at one point this season. It's probably above 16th now I would imagine.

What a bunch of chokers and jokers. The play calling is terrible and nobody has done anything on the field the last few weeks. No heart. This sucks.

I'm so mad I might actually root for the Dolphins next week.

So, do you all think Mangini is fired at the end of the season if the Jets don't make the playoffs?

I think he should be, but I don't think he will be.

Think about it..None of Belichick former assistants are really doing well either in college or the NFL

He really is just a mad scientist. Belichick's best coaching job of his career has been this season. To be 10-5 right now with a shot at winning the AFC East with the injuries they have sustained is amazing to me.... This discussion should take place in the Patriots thread though. I'll continue it over there.

    Carry on suicidal Jets fans....

I don't think he will be let go; not before Sutton and Shcottenheimer, anyways.

Am I the only one who didn't want Favre?
He's got to be the most overrated QB coming into this year.
    He throws too many int's

I will be sad to see Chad go... this could've been his year with a decent o-line. You have to remember last year when we basically got rid of Pete Kendall we didnt have anyone to replace him leaving a huge hole in our line.

What a circus this year is going to be.

What an interesting post by Ruffdice from the first page of this thread. Pennington's been playing his same game and doing very well, in additio to showing his exceptional leadership. For all the talk about Favre's arm, there weren't many plays that went long and I remember at least 3 throws yesterday that were seriously underthrown (and one was to a WIDE OPEN david clowney, who would have had a TD, imo)

    Let's Go Jets/Mets/Nets

lol thanks, I was about to go back and quote that too. I didn't even like watching this team this year because of how much I can't stand rooting for Brett Favre. How this guy made the Probowl is beyond me.

There's something to be said for QB's who control the game and are effecient with the ball. We've seen it year after year with Pennington and other guys like Roethlisberger, etc... Your QB doesn't have to be the best player on the team as long as he's smart with the ball.
Now who's our QB next year? Kellen Clemens?

btw, Mangini is definitely our coach next year.

oh, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, but I will not be upset if Miami beats us next week at all. In fact, I'll be rooting for them in the playoffs if they make it.

    That throw Favre made yesterday

    1) Off his backfoot
    2) Across the field
    3) Into the wind
    4) Into double coverage

That resulted in an INT was unfreakingbelievable...I could not believe what I saw.

Considering the other Met's fan in here, wouldn't it be fitting for that Pats to lose at 1 oclock, and then to have their own destiny in their hands and to choke it away to a team from FL

Congratulations to the Miami Dolphins and their fans on the team's win and clenching the AFC East division. Keeping New England out provided some bitter-sweet enjoyment for me.

    J E T S Just End The Season

What a joke this team is. Favre couldn't run out of that stadium quick enough. Good riddance to him and the circus he brought with him. Pennington should be the one in the Pro Bowl.

Is it too late to say I told you so?
