I met my wife at Boston garden for the team's shoot arounds before tomorrow's NCAA east regional games. A colleague of my wife received a text that the Jets got Tebow.

I said, "Great. Now we have two quarterbacks that can't throw. Just what every team needs."

Between the Miami being in dissarray, the Jets locker room and Tebow coming to town, the Pats defense, and the Bills getting some buzz, I'd said the AFC East is gonna be a 'headline heavy' division this year.

The Jets only play 6 games against teams that had winning records in 2011 and 5 games against playoff teams. Their strength of schedule is 20th. Buffalo got better but Miami still sucks. The problem is that the hard part of the Jets schedule is the first 7 games where they see Pittsburgh, the 49ers, Houston, New England, and the improved Bills. A record better than 3-4 would be a small miracle. If the team doesn't fold, they should be a .500 team given how much easier their last 9 games are. It's the NFL where the teams have parity. They could also make the playoffs or go 1-15.

They do play the nfc west. Rams suck, hawks suck, cardinals suck. I think the jets defense is going to be damn good this year. Coples beasted in preseason. Their offense is going to make you want **** n hammer back.

The Jets thread needs to be bumped in honor of Monday Night Football. I'm sure all the Jets fans are watching the Yankees game.

See you guys then, division games always drive me up the wall.

Still surprised Greene came back into the game after the knock out, hope he is okay.

Don't count out Miami yet, Tannehill is starting to click better with his receivers and Miami's D is pretty even with the Jets now that Revis is done.

AFC East is up in the air really. There is no dominant team like the AFC South and North. The Patriots maybe able to beat up a few more teams since their schedule is a joke compared to the Jets'.

    Things I can't get over

    1) that woefully underthrown pass to Hill that got intercepted at the goal line

    2) Hill botching the catch on third down, just before the two minute warning

    3) Play-calling after the Jets miraculously got the ball back after the game tying FG

    Maddening!
    Let's Go Jets/Mets/Nets

I posted in the Pats thread that the last posession was playing not to lose the game, rather than win the game.

t had "let's be contented with a FG and give Brady enough time to beat us" all over it.

The Patriots play the same schedule the Jets do. 6 AFC-East games. 4 AFC-South games. 4 NFC-West games. The Pats played the division winner schedule so they played Baltimore (when they were healthy) and Denver (with Peyton Manning). The Jets played Pittsburgh and will play San Diego. If the Patriots schedule is a joke compared to the Jets, the only possible explanation is that they play the Jets twice. Is that what you meant?

Miami's Run Defense is much better than the Jets. Tannehill is better than Sanchez. Go Fins.

Both teams have a pretty easy schedule from what I can see. New England still has 49ers and Texans on their schedule, but both games are at home; otherwise, both teams have fairly average schedules remaining.

Giants STILL have the toughest schedule ahead if I am not mistaken.

  35. 11-23-2012 12:27 AM #1575
Well if that performance doesn't get Sanchez pulled, I don't know what will. If not tebow, give mcelroy a shot.
