So how did the tire mounting go? Did we have to use clamps this time? Either way im sure they are on becuase Mike is a master at making **** work. Looking forward to seeing the new set up. You sell your old wheels yet?

So Gabe and I were able to slap on the new coils on Sunday. Coils are Solo Werks and first impressions are that they’re pretty ****ing great! Coils will go ridic low. I still have a ton of threads left along the helper springs still in and im at 22 ½ in the front and 23 in the rear. Coils still need to settle too.

Ride is very nice compared to other coils I have had in the past. All sets that I have owned were adjustable damping and I always set it to the stiffest as possible, so that probably has something to do with it. These coils are not adjustable but they ride very smooth. That is a plus if I have the kid in the back so I won’t give him brain damage from the rough ride.

Here is a crappy cell phone pic of the car. Disregard the purple tint, that will be getting removed soon. Hopfully wheels will be put together this week and I can get them on the car.

Hello Gents,

For those of you that don't have Facebook... I made it to LA in one piece!

My Gti was a champion and had no issues even with probably 500 pounds of stuff in the back.

I'm staying with a friend for the next month and will be looking for a place in the interim. I'll share my new address once I have one.

Oh yea, Wuste is June 1-3 in Vegas for anyone that want's to come

Hi Gregors. I'm not a fan of dark wheels, silver is the only complimentary wheel color for gray cars imo.
