    Thread: 2000 JETTA..horn stopped working

      I'm pretty sure this is the ground wire for the horn, I still hear the relay click when I press the horn on the steering wheel.

      Just wondering where the wire commonly breaks apart?

      check the fuse first i heard they blow out easliy.

      thanks...the fuse is good though.. just checked it..

      the relay clicks when the horn is activated..just no actual honk

      the wire doesn't usually break apart.
      The horns are on the drivers side behind the bumper. Check them.

      What you can do is to disconnect the horns and test them on the battery to see if they are still functioning. If not you then would have to replace them, I did that with mine, my car is missing the water guard for the under carriage and horns went because of water damage. The PIAA 500/600MHz are pretty good replacements.
