I'm finishing up a blog post about an old road trip I took to Sears Point with BreenMachine, and I scanned these old pictures in. I took this picture in 95 or 96, can't quite recall. It was when you could still camp in the carousel and IIRC this was morning practice:To complicate issues, I'm not sure if this is 600, Superbike, or Formula Extreme. But I'm fairly certain that only Miguel Duhamel would've worn the 17 at Sears Point, and I think he was with Honda at the time. It's too soon for Nicky Haden on the #69 bike.
Who's on the #69 and #1 bikes? Bonus points for bikes and class!
Thanks all,
dc

I'm guessing Superbike with Doug Polen on the Ducati #1, Duhamel on an RC51 #17 and same with Nicky on the #69.-Randy

Doug Polen sounds right, but was Nicky really riding in 95/96?

Polen, Duhamel and Hayden. Yes, Nicky was riding then. He won Superbike in '00, so not too far off the beginning of his SBK career.Good chance that's Eric Bostrom on the obscured Green Kaw in 4th.
Pretty sure it can only be the ZX-7 too.

maybe, Nicky was 14-15 around that time, Nicky won the superbike title in 2002 Also, those are not RC51s.It looks like 1995, Miguel won his championship that year, so he's still wearing 17, #1 would be Troy Corser, not sure who #69 is
* this is of course if it's a superbike picture, Miguel rode supersport for many years as well. Also, the green kawi is not Eboz, but more likely two time SBK champ Doug Chandler
it may be hayden, but that is a GSXR, and he did ride one, just can't remember when.
I'm not sure thats a SBK photo, I don't think nicky raced superbike until after he signed with Honda in 1999
