Is Casey losin' it? He used to dominate the Texan but now he is barely ahead of him?

I was expecting these kind of rumours as former Ducati boss Livio Suppo who Casey gets along very well with moved to Honda this year.
I reckon Honda would have to put forward some serious coin to lure him away from the Duc.

Stoner bins it on lap 2Not having a good season this year and not doing himself any favours.

Australian MotoGP stays in Victoria until at least 2016
The Australian MotoGP will be held in the southern state of Victoria until at least 2016, officials said on Sunday.
It had been suggested Sydney could poach the event, with the New South Wales government interested in hosting the Australian MotoGP and Grand Prix.
But the Victorian state government confirmed it had signed a contract extension - and also had the option to extend the deal until 2026.

At least 12 weeks you'd have to say for this sort of injury. Could be end of his MotoGP career and start of F1 next season?

Poor Rossi, this year's WC battle will be boring without him.
The Ducati looks to have lost its mojo if Hayden is even losing the front end.
#88
Pretty boring race except the last lap, when Stoner managed to jump to 4th. That was some really good stuff!![]()

I think it's going to be a Yamaha year regarless of Rossi. But then again maybe Stoner will now be fired up knowing his arch rival is now out.
#90
I don't think he's got a bike at the moment, capable of getting anywhere near his main rivals... Rossi or not.
The rumour is that he's going to Honda next year.

Leaving Thursday morning for the island, long drive ahead. Hope it's a good weekend.
#93
Come on Casey, make all us freezing cold, wet, campers happy. Camping at the island in this weather is not pleasant.
#94
Stoner, what a champ!
I am sick in bed though and missed all the action. Is Ten replaying this?
#95
Just watch a replay of the start. I think Lorenzo got ahead by about half a metre or so for about 50m. After that Stoner ran away with it.
One of the most boring MotoGP races you're ever likely to see. But least it was an Aussie out in front.![]()
#96
Go Stoner 4 in a row@ PI.
Rossi is a kunt, I wonder if he'll ever be given a drive through for block passing? I was screaming for Hayden to T-bone him in the last laps.![]()

That was the real race, for 3rd and dont forget Nicky and Rossi will be in the same garage next year. Yeah it was boring but Casey at home is just to good.
The Moto2 racing was much better, Tony Elias made a passing move at Lukey almost every lap was great to watch.
Have some editing to do, have bout 1500 shots on the camera.

stoner rode like the wind. he was leaning in at absurd angles through the corners. just amazing.

Great result for Casey with his first pole for 2011 on his new Honda, was never in trouble and easily stayed ahead of Pedrosa through the whole session.
Bring on the race and the rest of the season![]()
