Bit the bullet, and picked these up:

    Dirty English by Juicy Couture

    Pursuit by Dunhill

JAZZ by Yves Saint Laurent (I've been wanting LIVE JAZZ, but saw this at a great price)

**** for him (for $15, I could use it as air freshener and wouldn't feel bad. It's surprisingly decent. Haven't tested it 'on the field' yet though)

And last but not least, A* Men by Thierry Mugler...... And yes, I got the refillable metal case version

I expect to pick up a few more bottles in the next few weeks. Definitely some stuff from the YSL and Givenchy houses.

First time in a Sephora today. OMG, I love the women there. So courteous, so kind, and gave me hella samples! I told the woman when she handed me my stuff, "You've made me a happy man..." LOL

On another note, I picked up two new bottles, and Preppy, I'm hella jealous!

    Rochas Man (100ml)

    Soul by Boss (90ml)

    I bought my man some
    D & G - Light Blue.

I later went out and bought myself the
D&G- Light Blue for women. The scents are very similar - But mine actually smells way better. .

Well, worth the $45-50 a bottle.
Guys - It's a huge turn on to smell a good smelling dood.

^ previous poster up above. Your girl probably bought it for you - because it turns her on to smell it. Just food for thought. Girls, are highly attracted to scent.

I admittedly started wearing Light Blue in 2001 when I happened to be in Paris when it first came out. I could care less that it was a womens fragrance... it turned more masculine on the skin. When the men's was released in 2007 I snatched it and it has been my "inexpensive" go to summer fragrance.

And on women, it's the most attractive perfume imo!!!

So here's an update: For those of you that do not know, there are people on YouTube that 'review' colognes and perfumes. After many months of being on the sidelines, I have decided I have a big enough collection and the interest to start my own reviews. So here's a link to my YouTube channel

    http://www.youtube.com/959lover

Check out my vids to see my most recent pick-ups and reviews/thoughts. And to see how cool I am

Just thought I would let you guys know, I bought this perfume for my girl and I'm pretty certain she loves it more than me now.

I make her put it on before we do the damn thang.

EDIT: I actually went shopping for some cologne today, I tried out the new burberry sport as well as Diesel only the brave. I liked brave and the lacoste essential but ended up leaving with the guys version of what I bought my girl, it smells amazin'.

What do you think? The female version smells really good on guys too. Furthermore, Versace Man Eau Fraiche smells a LOT like D&G LB for women.

I need to pick up some more fragrances. A few are itching at my wallet but I need to make sure I'll actually wear them. Things I've been wearing recently:

Chanel - Allure Homme Edition Blanche

    Amouage Reflection Man

I've been using Lacoste Essential all summer and have gotten compliments from a lot of people saying how it's nice that it's not a typical "sport" smell or something too musky and heavy. An issue has come to my attention though...

It doesn't seem to last that long. I think maybe my skin isn't oily enough for the scent to hold but I'm not sure. It does help somewhat to use it RIGHT after I dry off from taking a shower but is there anything else I can do? I kid you not, I spray my chest once, then three sprays covering my neck and then do one wrist and rub them together and some people STILL can't detect it at all on me. In fact now that I think about it, the majority of the compliments I've gotten have been like right when I meet up with someone and it's been sprayed super recently. It's like I can drown myself in it, I smell awesome for like a half hour and then it vanishes and I don't mean me getting used to it on me, I mean I've asked friends, "Can you smell my cologne?" and they've put their face like inches away from me and can't tell... What can I do to fix that?

This was discontinued a few years ago. I've been wearing it since 1999 or so. Getting harder to find, but not that bad. Very 'clean' scent. The one that replaced it 212 'sexy' sucks.

Funny thing about Pure Malt: Were it not for the YouTube fragrance community, Thierry Mugler would not have rereleased it. Furthermore, some believe this isn't a rerelease at all but rather an emptying of remaining old-stock. Sad, but probably true. If you haven't already, I would recommend picking it up. At the very worst, you could turn around and sell it once they run out for the same price you paid, plus you'd have been using it in the meantime.

Unless you spray like 8 sprays each time you apply

P.S. Very nice pickups btw, things that should be in everyone's collection at some point in your life.

On a side note, I just started a blog on fragrance. I mean, I already do youtube reviews but I started a blog too just to put all my ideas in writing too, letting me say what I want to say and be as eloquent or rude as I need to be. Check both links out!

The sweeter, fresher, citrus-y scents tend to wear off quicker than woody and musky scents.

I've been wearing Lacoste Red this summer, but will probably switch back to Burberry London when it starts getting colder.
