I wanna smell Yatagan, I remember someone telling me about it and it sounded great. I cleaned my room and organized my colognes into my closet (open) instead of outside on a cabinet. Proper storage is key, people!
Which reminds me..... Mike, I'm going to 3 parties this weekend. I'll test out the L'Eau D'Issey Intense and report my findings And I need to decide on a December/Holiday rotation. Assuming I like the above frag, I'll go with
Day wear/Workhorse - 360º White by Perry Ellis
Afternoon/Outing - Blue Jeans by Versace
Gym - Nautica Voyage (It was cheap, and it smells decent. What else do I need for gym cologne?)
Evening/Outing - L'Eau D'Issey Intense by Issey Miyake (if this doesn't work, i'll bust out my Burberry London)
Evening/Outing #2 - Black Jeans by Versace (getting it in on Monday hopefully!)

Some people say 360º White by PE smells like Le Male, but not as intense. I like intense scents as long as they don't knock people out. Maybe I should hunt down a bottle. Anyone have experience with Le Male? I am just afraid EVERYONE getting cologne in high school got this as a gift, since I almost did. I remember it was either Le Male or Bvlgari AQVA. I didn't like either, but the sales associate was pretty, and I wasn't paying attention to the cologne. She said she liked Aqva more, so there is my story.
The nose knows, the ears hears.

^ Brotherman, that is quite a menu you're organizing there!
I just kinda go through the 30-40 or so I have and pick one out. I have some that are more for summer, others for winter, some for evening, some more formal, etc, but, really, I'll wear stuff according to my mood. Or my wife's mood I also tend to use the same cologne for a few days in a row, sometimes longer. Like Vetiver (Guerlain or Jo Malone) or Givenchy Gentleman or the original Armani...I could wear that shjt forever...
Next time I see you I'll bring that Yatagan, it's nice. I wore the 3eme Homme tonight, the wife likes it, very subtle. It's a little sweet, a little spicy, a little grassy, nice stuff.

nice! I saw a 4.2oz bottle of Vetiver Guerlain but I couldn't pull the trigger. It was dirt cheap too, eh. I wanted to end my little shopping spree on colognes for a few weeks, so I can at least have enough $$ to buy Christmas presents hahah.
I usually cycle through since I tend to get tired of things fast. If I rotate often, I'll never get tired of anything, while having ample time to sample the fragrances and have memory of events. I now hate Eternity by CK from overuse. And the bottle becoming spoiled, but that's besides the point

Having a signature scent is great, and it's what I used to do. Use some cheap cologne when I wanted to smell better, and use a big gun (Armani code, for example) when going out or whatever. Then I realized hey, why not smell great all the time? And it's not as if I were wearing a different cologne everyday for a year lol, I just rotate to keep the ladies curious. Sometimes it can be a wash, most of the time I see them do a double-take.
Dint get me wrong, I personally still even have a signature scent, an I don't mention what it is. It's my gem that is not readily available, an smells angelic. If I'm on my A game, I'll wear that no matter the time, no matter the event.

I just rotate my scents for the occasion. I have lighter fresher scents for every day, the killer pimp scents, and the musky office/business scents.

Got a Macy's catalog today with a fragrance sheet of Prada Amber PH. Applied and I like it, but I doubt it'll be one of those knockouts. Anyone have experience with it?
I was actually hoping to pick a bottle up from what i've read/heard. Thinking about saving my $$.

My philosophy on cologne has become "Use it before you lose it." I calculated that I have enough cologne to last me 35+ years if I spray 4-5 sprays per day, since sometimes I spray 2 times for scents such as Fleur du Male by JPG, or 6 for Be Delicious for Men by DKNY (EdC).
How are you liking 'The One' by D&G?

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I like it better then the Burberry. Out of anything I've ever worn I like it the best and I reccomend it to anyone

so when you apply cologne, do most of you apply it to your clothes or actually spray it on your body. i usually just spray it on right after i get dressed, but i don't know if that is the most efficient way.

That's actually the worst way to use it.
The best is just after you dry off after the shower on your skin. It will last much longer, and be more noticeable on your skin than on your clothing.

Hit your pulse points (neck & wrists) and then lightly on the rest of the body, if I'm layering up I'll give an extra spray on what I'm wearing.
I've been converted to a D&G guy, was polo for awhile until I turned 16 and stopped asking my friends what they wore.

^ Neck and wrist/inner forearm daily for me as well. If I'm going out out, then I'll hit my outer layer with a spray as well.
I picked this up at Macy's last night:

      Stuff is awesome!
