greetings people. I just picked up a 90 jetta pacific and am wondering if there are any pacific owners on here.

this beauty has teal pinstripes and blue "pacific'' decals. Special upholstery on the seats , power mirrors , oh **** handles and a sunroof

does anyone else here have a jetta pacific ? i can post pics tommorow if this edition is a rarity or something

I think a special interior was the only real special part of this car. Maybe the power mirrors too. ETKA isn't too clear on this one.

Quite a few were diesels I believe (a higher ratio then gas to diesel regular cars anyway).

There's one in the JY I go for parts, it has factory spoiler on it. Not sure if that's a standard part of the package.

Special models like this (excepting Wolfsburg Editions) are only from Canada, and only Jettas (Flair, Flair 2, Pacific, and Trophy).

more like everywhere else except the states.

    FTW...

Golf/Jetta's were named after american city's too

    Manhattan
    Boston
    Atlanta
    etc......

ironic that we didn't the model that was named after the city you lived in.

I think VWoA knew the consumer wouldn't let the Pacific and the other fancy trim models fly. Nice inetrior but in the end its just a trim model. GL with fancy seats and stickers.

    Edit:
