sorta of. Hood and bumper is done with. Just need $ for paint.

The wheels are at the shop getting refinished still so they will be back on in a couple weeks.

anyone have a air compressor and a paint gun i can use?

Yeah, Duckpond area. If you are coming from the duckpond you cross that little bridge and go past a road on the right, and then the parking lot is on the right. If you are coming from the opposite direction you past the gated lots and start going down a hill and the lot if on the left.

I might be in. I'm a junior -- living off campus this year. Pretty stock Mk4 GTI. I have B&Gs, but they're in my garage in Northern Va. waiting for install ...

im not sure if you know campus very well but the road you want to turn on is down by the chem/phys building, the pond is right by the entrance to the golf coarse, and the lot is right beside the cage if that helps at all, look at a campus map and you will find it easily

does anyone have a decent jack that i could borrow to lower my coils a lil...i dont wanna use the widow maker.. i live in foxridge off campus

damn i just took the jack and jack stands out of the trunk cause i didnt think i'd be able to put use to them out here.

I've got a crappy Walmart pump jack but I'm out of town right now. How soon are you planning on doing it?

Also, what coils? My Jetta is on Konis all the way down and I have to drive up on some wood to get the jack under the car.

FKs... i still have like 1 finger gap all the way around, a jack still fits under it.

I might just wait till next season because winter is gonna be creepin up on us soon

Wish I could suggest something, but I really have no connections here anymore. I REALLY miss that about St. Louis, anything I needed was easy to get taken care of. Have you checked on CCVT yet?

yeah sucks. I had a couple connections back home but none here. Theres a ton of auto shops/collision centers/bodyshops in the area so i'll just go by them and check them out.
