I've talked with Paul (Blackwolf15) several times about possibly doing a trunk like yours...

Looks like a 3.5 hour drive... I'm definitely interested in going down, anyone else interested in cruising down to meet these guys?

It will be worth your time! Bring the parts and we can beer mod your rear end while your in town. There is also a boat ramp if anyone wants to bring jetskis or a boat. I should mention that this is on the private property of a nuclear plant. We get access to it through one of our members who is an engineer for the plant. It's pretty cool getting a pic of your ride parking in front of a nuclear cooling tower!

Anyone have a MKIV 4dr/Jetta roof rack they would like to get rid of... cheap? Or trade for weak black painted 16" Le Castellets?

    That was JP (soname) haha.

Logan, I want to see your car. Still spun down? I saw some thread today that was mentioning just running a motor mount spacer on the drivers side to help with binding.

yeah its as low as i can go without it being unbearable to drive... but finally got the rear poked out and dropped w/o perches and in the process of swapping for black leather seats and a roll bar after thanksgiving. Speed bumps get me every time now in good ole maple ridge...

yeah they are for now was thinking about taking them out but never got around to it just a bit bouncy in the front yet haha. I have 15mm in the rear and it sits pretty much flush with the lip. working on getting either 10mm or 12.5 in the front to make it look right but may need new tires for that yet.

the only purpose of the helpers is to keep the spring seated if the wheels come off the ground right? they shouldn't effect the ride at all? I'm thinking about taking mine out because i'd like to take my front down a bit more, but inner clearance is an issue right now. If you're free at all this weekend I really wanna see your car. We should all do a photoshoot sometime too

    This, everyone come out!

There will be a meeting here soon (unofficial) and an official meeting next week IIRC. Check out the announcement section on the forums for updates.

We're also planning a trip up to homeplace tomorrow (Sunday). We plan on meeting on top of the parking garage around 3 and heading out from there. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join.

well if you are talking about the one you saw around 4 on the intersection of patrick henry and main today, that was me. I tried waving, but didn't think you saw me. I'm on miro 368's now and maybe look lower?

Haha thanks man. The wheels have really helped fill up the gap a bit. This is a pic before I put the spacers on:

And the only picture I've gotten after F&R spacers:

Yeah I really want to, but can't spin the front down anymore due to inner clearance issues. Thats why I was talking to you about pulling the helpers out...it'll help me get lower without having to move the collars any lower. And the rears rub like crazy over any bump now, so I will definitely have to pull the spacers to lower any more in the back. We really have to do a legit photoshoot soon with you, JP and I
