      i was just wantin to see some pictures of mk2 jettas with black paint jobs...specifically 4-doors with flat black /satan black / semi-flat black or the dupont hot rod black...anyway post up ur pics i was wantin ideas for my jetta! id like to go with a black but i dont really want a super glossy paint job! so post em' up and let me see what some of yall have done!

      i dont care if its "OUT" i dont like the really glossy paint, and i dont care if someone else dont like it, i do...i just want to see sum other jettas with it to see how it looks

      i like the jetta in progress! and the bug is pretty sweet too! thats most likely the color im gonna go with! still tryin to decide!

      This months issue of "Ol' Skool RODZ" (on newstands now!!!)
      has an article on the right way to paint a car using the "Hot Rod Flatz" series of paint (DON'T paint your car with primer; primer ABSORBS moisture and will accelerate the rusting process of your vehicle )

      anyone else have any black jettas that look good, i need sum inspiration for paint! any kind of black, show me what yall got? preferably 4-door jettas, and if anyone has any pics of 4-doors with sportmax wheels show me some with them too!

      thats awesome [IMG]http://**********************/smile/emthup.gif[/IMG] i like those rims, there pretty deep! but im thinkin of goin with the sportmax wheels or some work equip 03's....im wantin a sorta old school look on the outside but the inside is gonna be like new! and then the engine bay will be shaved with the 2.0t, so its gonna be all mixed up but i give you props! thats a sweet jetta!       matte finishes are not "out" or "played"...anyone who says they are has no clue what they are talking about. they have been around for a long time and will be around for a long time.

      I use black to cover stuff untill its ready for "real"paint.

      As well as hide stuff that will never see paint...

      But this....well, all I can tell you is that it's black
