This thread is strictly for posting photos of the car mentioned in the title. Its purpose it to help elminate "show me such-and-such color MkV."

To keep these threads helpful for all, there are a couple things that will be done to keep them up to date.

  2. Threads will be pruned frequently. Any posts with broken photo links will be removed without notification. If you want to avoid having your post deleted, please keep your linked photos up to date.

  3. Threads will be closed to comments. To help with this, please post any pertinent information with your photos. If you have aftermarket wheels, please state what they are. If the car is lowered, please state what suspension system was used. In other words, answer questions before they arise. If you should be looking through a color thread and have a question about someone's car, please send that member a private message rather than posting in the thread. Any stray comments in a color thread are subject to removal without notification!

  4. Threads will be extremely large in load times by nature. For this reason, please post only photos that display in 800x600 size or less. Photos that violate this size requirement are subject to removal without notification as well.

Let's follow the ground rules and keep these threads useful for the community. With that said, let's see what you've got!

invest: in-vest (verb) to put (money) to use, by purchase or expenditure, in something offering potential profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value.

Vortex is full of the worst investors on earth. You didn't invest money into your car, you WASTED money on your car; but it's OK, I did too, I've just learned to accept it...

    Nope
    Canadian "highline" models has MFSW
US models get this on the sedan but not on the Sportwagen
    That engine is amazing.

Picked this up last night for the wife.

Slightly off-topic for this thread, but I think the tan interior is a good match with the white:

I have to agree. Tan is a good choice. (bias?)

What wheels do you have on your Wagon? How much extra did they cost you? assuming a dealer option upgrade.

If you're talking to me, those are 17" Avignons. $450 factory option over the base 16s.

VW.com say's they are an $1800 option. How'd you get them for $450?

vw.com is wrong more often than it's right. I didn't get a special deal or anything -- the $450 upcharge is MSRP.

That's interesting. There's a white 2.5 SW at my local dealer with anthracite goal's. $1350 option printed on the factory window sticker, just like the web site lists. Was your $450 a dealer add on, or was it on the factory window sticker listed at $450?

I know the VW Order Guide lists it at $450, and I can check the window sticker tonight. It might just be different between trim levels or something.

We probably shouldn't add any more discussion to a color thread, but I have a thread in the car lounge, too: http://forums.thecarlounge.net...50735

the goals do cost that much.. the 17" avignon's are a factory upgrade that cost $450. Any other wheel upgrade will cost a lot more.

Nice- is that a FOX and a Beetle in the background?

My Candy White arrives in one week! Can't wait. I think this is the best color, by far.

Don't worry- nobody is really getting *exactly* what they want with SW's right now.
I had asked for rear air bags, fog light retro fit, and other items which seem to be becoming
'kind of tough' according to my dealer....
