WHy reset? You aren't getting a service and it'll be out of sync.

What sort of a dealer can't help you for a month ?? That's pathetic.

Time to find another dealership. A 1-month wait for service is unacceptable.

      Laz

Many people enjoy eating apples and oranges, but in the end they are still… just apples and oranges. The R32 is passion fruit. . Live Long and Prosper.

      "How to reset service reminder"

Quote, originally posted by tomowski »
Well, I finally figured out how to reset the service reminder after they put the new transmission in my 2.0T. The service guy told me to hold the little wrench button in while inserting the key. Then, press and release the "min" button and then press and release the wrench button again. Since I do most of my own maintenance, it was nice to finally get the sequence to reset that damn thing.

I suggest finding a new dealer if they couldn't tell you something as simple as that.

There's also this magical book. It's probably in the glove box. It has the answer to this question.

Similar to the Helping Friendly Book, but written by VW instead of Icculus.
