Try "mk2 vr6 suspension" in the archives.

well im sure everyone has their own preference when it comes to Mk2 Vr suspension. Running a set of coilovers designed for a Vr6 mk3 are your best bet as they are valved for a heavier front end. However im sure just about any coilover using a quality strut insert (like koni) would do a very good job at whatever you need the suspension to do. In terms of handling the Bilstein PSS9s are very nice but expensive, and height and dampening coilover should help you out in the handling department. if you want stance the B&Gs and well as the H&R ultra lows will ensure your scrapping lip,oil pan and whatever else you want. If your running the suspension in areas with salt, i would consider coilovers with a stainless steel finish (FK silverline Plus X). Most coilovers will run you low enough and still have coils left, oil pan clearance will be your biggest worry but other then that take a look in the suspension forum or get online to the many vendors out there. good luck.

    whatevahs .

I wish I had a vr with coils.

So i could spin em all the way up and take a pic. and it will still be a mk2 vr on coils.

You think I can fit et 15 16x8"s on H&R coils?

i've got a cup-kit on mine, it's pretty firm, but of course non-adjustable.

I've heard that with the added weight of the vr, mk3 coils work better.

well check out KONI, FK, B&G, H&R and see what your budget is. thats some advice to start. do you want cheap ****, or quality ****. do you want it to have a good warranty in case something brakes, or go to **** within a few years. driven all year round or only in nice weather. the list goes on. do some searching and youll find plenty of info
