So who is the army? I have heard it is the Badoon and then I heard it was the Skrulls.

So it will be the Skrulls they are fighting then.

just came back from the movie in IMAX 3D. this movie was amazing. i couldn't stop smiling and I had goosebumps. every character was awesome. Hulk wowowowowowow.

dark knight may have been awesome cause it was rooted in reality. But this was simply a comic book made into a movie.

stay after the credits. best super hero movie ever.

oh and the special effects probably are some of the best I've ever seen, and this was the first time i've seen a 3D movie and not gotten headaches or gotten dizzy.

Huh. The toys at target had the villains as the skrulls. Who are the bad guys in the movie? You can write it in white so you don't spoil it for others.

Yea, the toys might have Skrulls, but they aren't in the movie.

      Spoiler (Highlight to read):
It's the alien race called the Chitauri. I don't think it matters so much in this movie who this army is, as Loki is a great villain in this movie. I'm a not a big fan of Loki in the comics, and was ho hum about him in Thor, but he plays the role of the main villain very well in this one.

Thanks for the head up. I was debating whether or not to see it in Imax 3D. IMAX it is.

One thing that bums me a little is the new portrayal of the Hulk, at least from what i've seen in the trailers. The 2008 version of the Hulk was the most bad ass and best portrayal of it I've seen. I was hoping they kept him like that. For the Avengers they seemed to have soften him up a little.

believe me. this hulk is the best hulk yet. and you would never know that Ed norton was the hulk in the 2008 version. This new hulk actually looks like Ruffalo, yet maintains the classic hulk look. Never was a big fan of the hulk (comics or movies), but this movie made me change... he was probably my favorite character

and that comparo photo makes me cringe at the 2008 version. that ripped chest just looks weird.

I'll have to reserve my final judgement until I see the movie. Though I wished they'd kept the previous Hulk as it was, he was already an established character and this movie follows what the others have already established.

I just read that there are 2 easter egg scenes after the credits. I only saw the one with "Thanos"(?).

What was the other scene guys/gals? Write it in white so it doesn't spoil the fun for those who haven't seen the film.

I saw it last night and thought it was a great movie. The Hulk was pretty damn funny. I thought Ruffalo did a great job. Robert Downey Jr. is great as Iron Man and he has some of the best one-liners.

Saw it today and loved it

      Quick questions with potential spoiler:

What caused the hulk to suddenly be able to control his rage? I know he and Stark had some conversations, but he still wasn't able to control it on the air ship. The suddenly during the climax it seemed like he had fail control and used it for good. Thoughts?

i don't think it was so much that he was able to control the hulk. I think it was to point out that Bruce Banner didn't really need a huge catalyst to get him pissed off. He's always pissed off, so he can turn into the Hulk at any time. Turning him back to Bruce Banner is what he isn't able to control..

It could be due to the fact that he hadn't "had an incident in years".

Saw it last night. This was the best super hero movie I have seen. Tons of action. It had a lot of funny moments too. It also tugged at your heart strings. I think the Hulk was my favorite part of the whole movie. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over again. And best of all, it is one you'll want to.

if you remember when they asked him in the city how he was going to be able to change he pretty much said the big secret was he is always angry.
