So who is the army? I have heard it is the Badoon and then I heard it was the Skrulls.
just came back from the movie in IMAX 3D. this movie was amazing. i couldn't stop smiling and I had goosebumps. every character was awesome. Hulk wowowowowowow.
dark knight may have been awesome cause it was rooted in reality. But this was simply a comic book made into a movie.
stay after the credits. best super hero movie ever.
Spoiler (Highlight to read):
It's the alien race called the Chitauri. I don't think it matters so much in this movie who this army is, as Loki is a great villain in this movie. I'm a not a big fan of Loki in the comics, and was ho hum about him in Thor, but he plays the role of the main villain very well in this one.
Make it three yards mother****er and we'll have an automobile race
Thanks for the head up. I was debating whether or not to see it in Imax 3D. IMAX it is.
One thing that bums me a little is the new portrayal of the Hulk, at least from what i've seen in the trailers. The 2008 version of the Hulk was the most bad ass and best portrayal of it I've seen. I was hoping they kept him like that. For the Avengers they seemed to have soften him up a little.

I just read that there are 2 easter egg scenes after the credits. I only saw the one with "Thanos"(?).
What was the other scene guys/gals? Write it in white so it doesn't spoil the fun for those who haven't seen the film.

Saw it today and loved it
Quick questions with potential spoiler:
What caused the hulk to suddenly be able to control his rage? I know he and Stark had some conversations, but he still wasn't able to control it on the air ship. The suddenly during the climax it seemed like he had fail control and used it for good. Thoughts?
It could be due to the fact that he hadn't "had an incident in years".
Saw it last night. This was the best super hero movie I have seen. Tons of action. It had a lot of funny moments too. It also tugged at your heart strings. I think the Hulk was my favorite part of the whole movie. This is one of those movies you can watch over and over again. And best of all, it is one you'll want to.
