Why you selling? You done taking out tanks?

I'd hate to imagine the cost of shooting that Barrett too...must be a couple bucks per shell or something ridiculous...![]()

I think it's around $4.50 everytime you pull the trigger... Though now that I've gotten into hunting that doesn't sound nearly as bad as it once did...I spent $60 for 20 shells of Hevishot last weekend...it's really disheartening to see how small one box of 10 shells really is.
#117
Yeah no kidding..heck I was a little miffed with $280 for 1000 rounds of 5.56 shipped to me..and its the cheap stuff (sigh).Thats why I need a bolt action now..keep me from sending too many bullets down-range when I get bored.

if your gonna seriously own & shoot a .50 these days, you need to get into reloading.

I fully support that idea!

You need something small, something nearly indestructible, something that gets you the most bang for your buck, and something that you don't have to worry about scratching or damaging and risking your investment. That's what I think anyway
![]()
And you should buy from a trusted source.

Modified a bit.

I reload for the G19, mostly because every time out I go through at least 500-600 rounds. And I was doing that every week, sometimes twice a week for a while.

I was at the fun shop last night and they had a S&W 627-5 Revolver. It is a 8 shot 357mag revolver. The price was fantastic and I couldn't pass it up. I will post some pics tonight, but for now here is what it looks like.

Get the MIAD grip from Magpul...just installed mine, and makes the grip significantly better (especially if you have long fingers like me!)Great looking guns...then again I'm probably biased..other than being SBR they're real close to the gun I just bought.

My Savage Model 12 in .223 w/ a Leupold VX-II duplex + Leupold adjustable scope rings.Nice, that is the exact same rifle I have, caliber and all! Also the same scope that I am planning on getting unless that is the 3-9x and not the 4-12x?
Mine came with a cheap brand[Stirling] 4-16x power scope but I wasn't complaining since I got the whole rifle, scope, case, ammo, and harris bi-pod for $400. It's my favorite rifle though it is heavy as hell, wouldn't want to carry it into the woods with me.
#131
Yeah that one actually is the 3-9 x 40mm. I have to say that its been an awesome piece of glass (which is always expected from them). I will also agree with you on the wieght....that thing is a tank! Makes shooting a 55gr. .223 feel like shooting a .22 long!!!! Its a great gun for setting up close to your hunting cabin or something and varminting. Then again it is a varminter! I would'nt carry it far but it sure is a fun shooting rifle!!!

Wilbur - How do you like your suppressor for the ar15? I have never heard one in real life. One of my co-workers is interested in one and was asking my questions about them. I only own handgun suppressors and no rifle suppressors.

Regular .223/5.56 ammo is a bit quieter then an unsuppressed .22 when shooting easy enough on my ears so I do not have to use muffs, subsonic is stupid quiet but expensive and wont cycleIts nice to not have to wear hearing protection when shooting this, the shorter an AR the louder it gets the 14.5" is noticeably louder then the 16"... at least to me it is. I plan on picking up a Rem 700 in .223 so I can shoot subsonic and not have to deal with the cycling issue, I just have one more purchase to make before the election/and the Remmy- I want an ACR.
