Its really going to suck for a long time after this election.

No, it won't! Obama can part the red sea and turn water into wine! I have to wonder just how many people are so desperate to see someone other than a white guy in office that they'll vote for the first smiling face that comes along, experience or no.

EXCELLENT! my wife has pretty much the same gun and she loves it! the only difference is that hers has the blued barrel rather than silver. for what it's worth the Federal copper coated bulk box ammo you buy at Wal Mart is the cheapest/most accurate/reliable ammo we've found to feed in that gun. if you feed it the Federal ammo it will run for countless hundreds of rounds and not even hiccup once. also check this site:

      http://www.guntalk-online.com/...g.htm

it will probably take a good two or three times disassembling and reassembling the gun before it gets easy.

      Very nice!
That's awesome the way Ruger put that little step there.... to show you right where you need to start machining to get the barrel turned down so it can be turned into an integral host

Man, if I had seen this a couple of hours earlier I would've made my order for a CMP Garand rather than the Saiga... Ah well, I'll just have to wait a couple of months.

Thanks for the compliments. The garand is an original M1D, one of a few garands I own. The little baby alligators are garand receivers I've restored.

The 1919 is semi, living in CA doesn't allow for the real fun stuff.

I wondered about that, but it isn't that rare for someone living there to have a few toys registered and stored in NV or something, so I figured I'd ask.

      Still very cool

Its called a "Crossfire Mk-1"... 12 ga/.223 over/under, pump action for both. It's a bit heavy, clunky & ponderous... but I still like it. Not many were made, the co. went out of business...

Not yet picked it up last night. Going to have the trigger set right around 3.5lbs and I have been looking into the Badger M5 detachable mag kit.

That case is for the SBR'd AR lower, 2 uppers, optics, and a suppressor. The Remmy gets a good ol' drag bag.

I have not decided yet. I am thinking about selling two of my Trijicon scopes and picking up something nice like a NightForce.

If not im looking into either a Millett or Super Sniper- I know that is a big difference from the first but I need a red dot for the shorty so I will have to pick up something like an Eotech as well.

I have a Super Sniper on my Barrett M99. I like it a lot. The glass is crystal clear and you can't beat the price.

I love it. I had a Sig 239 in .40 prior to this and am glad I picked up the P01. The pistol is more accurate than I am and I can shoot it all day long. The quality is top notch and this is an awesome gun for it's price. My next purchase will be a full size SP01 or an ambidextrous CZ 75 and lot's of hi-caps. Any other specific questions let me know.
