I want a P3At. Yeah I was looking at getting a G26 but ended up getting a 4th Gen G19. The G19 felt perfect in my huge sandwich clamps. I probably still will get a G26 one day. Im becoming a Glock whore now. Just one more then Im done... I swear.

Thats what I actually went down to get was the P3AT. But they were fresh out of them. They had the P32 ($250.00) and the P11 ($260.00) both were new. So I said screw it, its only ten bucks more and the owner let me test fire the P11 before I bought it. The P11 actually felt better in my hand than the G26. I still love the G26 and will purchase one in the near future.

I'm just getting started with handguns.

Hey Obin, How accurate is your P11?
Brought mine to the range tonight and out 160 rounds through without issue but the accuracy wasnt the greatest? I'm suspecting the trigger pull, although it is smooth operating its just long and double action each shot. Five rounds in a 6 inch group with the P11 and then I put five rounds through my buddies berreta PX4 in a 2.5 inch group. Both were 20 feet down range.

mine is accurate enough for a self-defense handgun. check this article out because i hear after doing this the pistols become much more accurate:

It is a Romy barrel. We are going to cut down, recrowned, thread the end, and machine front sight block back. Since it was a Romy, we are gonna use standard AKM piston(US made) and modified AKM piston tube to make up the length of where the gas port location is. The good thing about using this modified Romy barrel is that we can use the standard AMD brake instead of buying the Crapco brake and still have it cut to just over the SBR threshold.

What do you need pics of? If its the barrel this kit's barrel has been modified already too.

What do you need pics of?

Are you leaving it full length? Curious how the AMD-65 will look with a standard barrel.

"Pics please" see post title. Looking for more AK pics in general.

Obin posted pictures of his "normal length" AMD somewhere I believe - he SBR'ed it to normal length....not sure where he posted pictures.

The never ending stamp collection. One more will be added in a few weeks when my AAC TiRant 9 paperwork comes back.

Two of the three AR's I now own. The SBR has been covered before and the other is a Colt 6920 with DD Omega rail, Tangodown Vertical grip, Surefire flashlight, Mapgul accessories, Troy BUIS, and a Aimpoint Micro T1 with Larue mount.

Yeah sorry, I never read the titles. But you ask and you shall receive, atleast from me.

Heres a look of an AMD and a WASR back to back. You can see how far back we machined the barrel to move the front sight block back to use the AMD brake and keep it non-SBR. I do stand corrected about the piston tube, it is from a Saiga.

Here is what century arms looks like using all the original hardware with a custom cut barrel. The gas port is a little closer to the metal handguard, instead of closer to the FSB like mine.

    Now heres the real deal

OK I gotta know -- and maybe I'm just ignorant but why, in every photo I've seen where there is a bipod mounted, is the bipod mounted so that the legs fold towards the end of the barrel?

Am I missing some great secret?

First I'll take a shot at guessing -- Is it so that you can still carry the rifle on your shoulder using the strap comfortably?

I'm sure many of you have seen something like these, but they are new to me. http://www.pocketholsters.com/ I was buying some boots yesterday and a guy came in showing some of the workers his Kel Tec he was selling and he had it in one of these. I was also intrigued as to why he was ejecting each bullet one at a time onto the counter. I asked how much, why, and the usual questions. He told the issues he was having and I told him to wait a minute. I whipped out the ol' iPhone and found Obin's link to the kel tec fix and he wrote it down and was amazed at the new technology I had in my hand. He was going to try that before he sold it for a big loss since it wasn't 100% for him. Thank you Vortex, your knowledge is boundless.
