There's some sex in the books, but I wouldn't say they're softcore porn at all.

Its been years and years since I've read the 1st book. IDR if it had a HJ in the beginning.

Agreed. She's definitely been hitting the gym for this show, and the way she stands in some of the scenes...Schawing!!

I'm totally digging all the side effects like her ability to smell the cracker on the floor, and not being able to hear his thoughts.

Interesting show. I was confused by the adds for the next episode (3). I hope that it stays interesting. The first was slow, lots of action in the second, and if they can keep up the pace it will be great!

I feel the other way. She's cute w dark hair, but the blond throws me. I know Sookie is blonde in the books, but I don't know that that was the best choice for the show.

Howard, I'm so happy you're watching True Blood. It's based on a series of books by Charlaine Harris, which are increasingly charming, that I basically sit and wait for when she's writing.
I was very excited to find they were making a series, but wasn't sure how the audiences would find it.
I'm glad you've gotten behind the show. The more viewership it has, the longer it will last, and the more we will see the 8 (so far) books develop.
