The book talk has been kinda spoilerish for those just wanting to discuss the last episode. You are begging for them to get to the good Jason stuff that is coming up. Now we will be expecting big things with Jason and will not be as surprised.Alos, people saying the woman who turned Bill will be back in an important role, etc..
#115
my favorite part of the book is when the zombie army fights the pack of wolves and sookie opens a lemonade standsorry if that is a spoiler
#116
How many books are there in the series? I might have to check them out. I'm not much of a reader. I tend to like books with shorter chapters, but more of them.....
#117
8 books, they're pretty short though, like 200 pages each maybe?

if you consider these spoilers you my friend are not that bright. no offense. I havent read the books and can tell you there's good Jason stuff coming up.. No one said Grandma's gettin murdered... i didnt see that coming but i mean some stuff is just common sense... you think they would not bring back the woman that made Bill? i'm not trying to be a d-bag but so far the people who have read the books could have really blown sh*t up and havent.
anywho, i cant wait til' next week.![]()

I love you.![]()
You said everything I was about to type and I didn't have to type it.
And they might not do the Jason stuff I'm expecting yet. It happened in later books.
Anyone who is even mildly interested in the books ought to read them. They're super short, but great fun, nevertheless!
While reading them I almost want to tell myself to slow down because the book's almost gone!
Also, Charlaine Harris has a lot to do w the series, so it has her stamp of approval.
I don't remember anything in the books about the vampires crying blood. That's from Anne Rice books, but it always made a lot of sense to me and I was irritated when it didn't manifest itself in Interview with a Vampire, the movie.
I watched the latest episode On Demand, so I didn't see the preview. Anyone wanna recap the preview for next week for me? Perty plz?

hmm, i'll give it a whirl....
from what i remember, the Vampire who takes Ferris Bueller's Ferrari for a joyride (he just reminds me of him) and his 2 sidekicks are back and make an appearance at the bar.. Sam breaks a pool stick and attempts to stake one of 'em.... Bill is shown droppin' a body off a lake dock and the Blonde elder Vamp is back as well (Eric?)... thats all i can recall, i apologize.
i need to see it again now i'm curious since i cant fully remember..

Here's a simple solution. If you have not watched the episode, stay out of the thread until you do. We're here to discuss the show to date. I don't think anyone's going to post spoilers from the books ahead.

I thought bill could only enter a house if invited...so do you only have to be invited once or is it each time...because he busted in the house without asking
Isn't the dog her boss? I can't remember his name, but he "barks" in his sleep and whenever he's not around the dog is.

Yes, I figured they probably would bring back the woman that made Bill, but now it is certain. Yeah, we see that there is good stuff coming up with all the characters but pointing out bigger things coming for Jason makes me expect more.I never said they were spoilers, just kinda spoiler-ish type stuff. I'm just the type that doesn't want any hints or informed speculation of what may come. It is my own fault for reading threads where people want to discuss this. No big deal, just enjoying the show like everyone else. I'm over it. Carry on...
By the way, your post did come off as kinda d-baggy (with the insults and all), but you know, no offense.

Anyone else think it highly impractical to choose a white towel to clean up the blood?><
#135
Absolutely. I keep red towels in my house just in case I ever need to clean up a lot of blood.![]()
#136
Maybe I'm just too practical. I guess once Sookie cleaned up G'ma, she wouldn't keep the towels.![]()

Our office theory... this is just a theory. We haven't read any books. The dog is a vampire, more specifically it's the bar owner. Somewhere in the last few episodes Bill talks about other vampires being able to take other shapes and forms. When Bill was standing watch over the house, the dog came up and stood next to him.

though i totally see where you are coming from... the bar owner (i believe his name is Sam) has been outside, in the sun, in broad daylight, in human form and dog (if it is in fact him) where as we clearly see in the last episode (SPOILER) that Bill freeeeeaked out that sookie was in trouble during the day and he couldn't help

Bill is a badass vampire....even if he is young, hence weak....
