and they aren't technically trance

That's why I consider what they were playing in the late 90s to be Tech Trance. I missed their most recent tour together, probably my favorite duo ever.
Anyone getting burned out by the new stuff coming out lately, namely the whole electro sound influence? It was ok at first but now everything just sounds the same. I've been listening a lot more of my older CDs if I even listen to electronic music at all anymore. Getting back into disco/french/filter house lately.
Speaking of, does anyone here spin and could recommend me some good labels to look at for disco/french/filter house?

My favorites are Paul Johnson, Cajmere, Mike Dunn, CZR, DJ Sneak, and most of the early 90's ChiTown deep stuff.

Enjoyed is actually an extended re-edit of Chemical Brothers "Out of Control"

Oh, and if you're looking for disco/french/filtered house the first thing that comes to mind is... of course... Ed Banger Records

yea, not ed banger. that's electro. busy p runs ed banger, who was daft's tour manager for 11 years or something.

labels you should check out:
Work it baby (kris menace, lifelike, fred falke)
We rock music (raw man, aloud)
Roule (as said above...DEFINITELY! thomas bangalter (1/2 of daft punk), stardust, dj falcon)
Crydamoure (buffalo bunch, le knight club (guy-man de homem christo...other 1/2 of daft punk))
Vulture Music (this is a must! alan braxe and fred falke)
20000st (this is a must also, mainly for lifelike's releases, also demon is on this label)
i recommend these 2 albums to get you started, then explore from there...

http://www.amazon.com/My-House...5Y371

http://www.amazon.com/Vulture-...r=1-5
($51 is steep, if you can't find it i can help you out)

That has happened to me a bunch of times so maybe someone DID put something in his drink. I actually ended up in an er one time during a set because of people trying to give me a good time.
