I like some of his Mushroom Jazz CDs...saw him in Philly and he passed out 20 minutes if that into his set. Claimed someone put something in his drink, yeah right Mark.

Marques Wyatt is another west coast DJ that is awesome, I saw him at Deep in LA. Awesome night.

That has happened to me a bunch of times so maybe someone DID put something in his drink. I actually ended up in an er one time during a set because of people trying to give me a good time.

I don't have a problem with most drugs[more so when I was younger] but that's just wrong to do that to someone. You could be right, maybe someone did slip something in there. It's just that he looked trashed when he first came on, I thought he was just too drunk too play. It's all good though, my buddy of mine who played one of the earlier opening sets got to play another set.

Haven't heard it yet, but I'm sure it's good. It's almost hard for me not to like any work of his lately. For anyone that likes Dennis Ferrer, I recommend you check out the Objektivity label for good quality deep and tech house

yaay for a house music thread!

Revolution 909.. would u believe I never heard that song until i heard it on Pandora about a few months ago? I dunno how. But that video brings back memories!!! haha

That MTV disc is a great disc... plus it has Stardust on it. That songs almost 10 years old and I still love it.

I have to admit though I am starting to dig this new electro stuff.. i hated it at first. BenDJ feat. Sushy Me and Myself is on heavy rotation on XM BPM.

Speaking of.. I'm still pissed that The Move is off the air until early 2009..

It's crazy that you guys mention this too because The Move was the only station on XM I listened to. It provided that deep house and downtempo electronica that neither BPM or The System could deliver.

The System is too trancey and fast for my taste although I love it when they play some chemical brothers or future sound of london randomly... and BPM??? LOL Anything more commercial and I'll shoot myself

Well they did move Luis Baro to BPM temporarily on Sunday nights. I am a little worried that the station may never come back.. the merger is expected to fully go through by early next year.. and I'm pretty sure they will start combining channels as a way to save money in operations. I sure hope XM"s dance channels survive.

oh.. i forgot to say that is is still on XM Online though.. but that doesnt help the in-car situation.
