    Thanks for the replies.

    Just ordered two cool parts:

    Euro headlight switch

    Gewerkschaft der Polizei sticker:

"All of the hooligan German drivers are sporting this sticker to gain some mercy with the Polizei when they are pulled over. The literal translation is "trade union of police" and is the German equivalent of "We support our local (Sherrif/Police) office."

Your car came with a holeless grille? Wow, some dealership you got. Mine is still pretending that they never heard of the replacement program.

Garnett VW had a DBP R and a TR R and guess what? Both of them had holeless grills.

Anyways though, Garnett is a PA dealer and PA doesn't require front plates.

    Is your car white?

It's done nothing but rain since I bought the car...

Yes, it's the one with the body work/exhaust that pulled in when you were standing outside.

    I got mine on eBay.

Cheapest I could find and I had them within 3 days.

    I am contemplating buying these:

I am worried that; a) they will get stolen within a day, b) they will look ricey.

I have them, they don't look ricey, esp on a DBP and i doubt they'll be taken, I had VW stem covers on the Jetta for 2 years and these on my R since February,

Good stuff, thanks for the reply. I figured they'd look alright on DBP, especially since they will prolly cover more of the valve stem than the plastic black ones do.

I know this has been touched on before but...that headlight switch is plug-n-play right, however, you need a vag-com to activitate some of the features? Parking lights-only?

NOOOOO , noooo on the BRA! Your car is awesome man but the Bra just straight kills the look imo. If your worried just do the clear stuff, that just detracts from the beauty of the car.

    Otherwise, excellent pics!!!

What? One thread that the same person continuously updates as they do new work to their car?

This is blasphemy. What do you think this is, a blog? There must be new threads for every new item! Got new wheels? New thread!!! New license plate bolts? New thread!!! A sticker? NEW THREAD!!!

Your Vortex handbook hasn't come yet, I see.

(Car looks great, minus the brazeer...but it's temporary thank god)

    Yeah, yeah, sue me.

I'm pretty sure unless you are right up on the bolts or using a telephoto lens like I was, no one will even notice.

They look better than some flat head screws.

    I would notice

    Haha. It's a temp fix until I can score a 3M bra.

I hope that happens soon bud. I'd be more concerned with damaging my paint using a leather bra than the actual looks of it. Moisture gets built up underneath there...not good!
