The difference with the PYSpeed LED license plate bulbs was like night and day.

OEM bulbs are an ugly yellowish color while the LEDs are blueish white.

It's a sweet addition to the car!

I ordered the OEM+ first aid kit to store in there just for looks.

No way I'm busting open a $35 first aid kit if some kid needs a band aid.

I also picked up the Emergency Triangle from ECS for $4.95 and it fits right into the tray.

I put it off for the longest time, but am so glad I finally bit the bullet. They look lovely... especially with the taillights.

Picked up the First-Aid kit for the look as well. Along with the triangle too

Currently sitting in the lodge of Fontana Village... (Tail of The Dragon!)

After conversing with a lot of people tonight, it seems I had some followers on this thread who really kept up with my progress. Thus, I am going to keep at it.

Here's the most recent shot of the car... notice of my newest mods... the brushed aluminum scuff plate.

View from the deck of my room... I am diggin' it down here.

Also, thanks to dubnick32, I just ordered the A3 Noise Pipe delete from ECS Tuning.

So what size spacers did you settle on for the front and rear? I assume you needed to get longer lug bolts?

    Thanks man.

I am very close to Kennett so hit me up via PM sometime. I am at that Wal-Mart all the time.

Congrats on getting the best color.

16mm in the rear and nothing in the front. Stock lugs are 27mm so add 16mm to that and you'd need at least 43mm.

Did you still have the black coilpack covers? Didn't know if you sold them or not, but would love a set!

I have them on my car, but I've never sold them. The only thing I ever had, that I was giving away, was the black wire loom.

    Black Coil Pack Covers:

I am 100% impressed with the looks of the black covers over the ugly red ones.

If anyone wants to buy the black wire loom kit from me, send me a PM. $5 shipped for the six pieces that you need.

Ah, this is where I saw it! Knew I wasn't crazy!

I see now, you mentioned the loom kit. Ooops.

Ah, okay yeah. I posted that a long time ago, and ended up just giving it out to whoever wanted/needed the loom. I still have a lot left if anyone needs it.

Just ordered the LED plate bulbs and R36 dead pedal. Was going to order the OEM dash that you have but didn't feel it was worth like ~$40.

I was under the impression that the dash tray wouldn't fit cars with climatronic a/c systems.

Looks like fit was the wrong word for me to use, lol.

I think I heard that it will alter your in car temperature by a few degrees, but I never use the auto climate so I am fine.

Will Barnes just inspired me to order a full set of Hyper White interior LEDs from Tuner Domes.

Will was showing me his and these things are bright! You could have limo tint and your interior would still be completely visible with these things on.

Cancel your order on the noise pipe delete. Seriously. It's a pain in the rear due to the stupid intake clamp, and you need those angled/hinged adapters for your ratchet. Then, if you do it right you have to yank the actual noise thingy which hides under the rain tray and is even harder to get to.

It's not worth the effort. It makes ZERO noticeable performance difference, and I don't think I noticed a sound difference (quieter) either. For the price you pay for the new piece and the block-off, it's just pointless.

Also, if you order from Tunerdomes, you need to modify their "kit," unless you don't care about your footwell lights. The default behavior involves fading, and you can fade them a percentage from the MFD. The fading will either not work at all, or possibly cause flickering or a problem with the LEDs, so I wouldn't do LEDs in the footwell area.

I have installed most of the popular bolt-on mods for a 2008 R32, minus suspension work. I know a lot about electronics and car audio, and have experience with VCDS ("vagcom"). I'm a radar/lidar countermeasure enthusiast. I like track days, autocross, and US Highway 129. I love aural pleasure.

The tunerdome website states the R32 kit includes a glove box light. My glove box doesn't have a light, are there some with and some without?

    ^ DarkNeo, that looks ill!

@ Brushy Mountain State Penitentiary, which served as a maximum security facility. Perhaps best-known for housing James Earl Ray, the assassin of Martin Luther King Jr.

If you look closely at the picture, an Officer climbed down out of his watch tower and was getting ready to lay the smack down on me, so I quickly proceeded to leave. The prison shut down its operations in 2009.

I love the look of the brushed aluminum. That's exactly the one I'd wanna get. If not, it'll have to be the black one.
