if this is "dropped on the ground," then you must think you drive a "lowered" car.

Hey PSU,
I think you've taken about the best shots that I've seen so far of the R32. I've been thinking a R32 and thought I wanted a UG but after seeing your pics maybe I should look for a blue. I think your lens makes all the difference in the quality of your shots, but not to take away from your composing.
thanks,
ak![]()

You better get that clear bra, that blue tape looks like ass, I know its effective but if you are that particular about your car get the clear bra, it is far better than blue tape and you wont have to worry about spending all the time taping and retaping

Thanks for the comment. I am shooting with a Canon 1DMk2N. I have a Canon 70-200 L and a Tamron 28-75 as well.

I have a small collection of canon camera's (XTi, 20D, D60, G9) and lenses (50/1.4, 10-22, 80-200f/2.8L, 17-55f/2.8IS, 100/2.8 macro, 400/5.6L) but have never even thought I should get a 1Dxxxxx, let along the N, so I was curious what else you shoot?

I used to shoot college football, which is why I have such an overkill camera.
I guess you could say I was an amateur photographer because at one point I was making some good money. Everyone told me to pursue something in photography, but I sort of gave it up .
After I get some sleep I might post some of my work. (I just got done working 12-8 and the photos are on my external).

Anyways though, I started off with an OG Canon Digital Rebel and worked my way up from there through trial and error. It's funny you say that... it's where I started too, but most old skool photogs would not consider the 300D OG

very nice pics either way, I like you're style

a couple of comments.- less angular/crooked pictures, more in-progress/diy pictures.
- i still see brush marks in those mirror caps. so i would say that they still do not match the front grille. unless you brushed the grille as well, which isn't a bad idea.

Awesome looking car! Can you offer some more info on what you did to the mirrors to give them the "brushed" look?

My only constructive suggestion is to remove the R32 grille badge since you debadged the R32 from the rear.

I did the same, and wrote the DIY on GolfMKV.com
if you are still seeing brush marks, you can clearcoat them, it does help
