does ur car drive and run? have u had any problems with this kit? is it a good kit if i daily drive my car a lot? like i put a lot of miles on my car which is why im interested in apr stg 3 cause i know it puts great numbers out and retains stock like drivability! but if this kit is like that im interested in saving 2 grand!! haha

There are a variety of turbos available, if you want a big one it spools later, if you want the same turbo used in the APR stage 3+ kit then it will spool faster.

For your car I would go with a GT3071R 63ar, FMIC kit, injectors and software.

If you have any specific questions drop me a PM

APR makes a great kit. Our kits are generally used with bigger turbos, because people want more power. We often have customer asking us if they can upgrade, because they want more power after going with the stage 3 or stage 3+ kits. We have 100's of customers daily driving these kits with no drivability issues.

I DD my 20th with this kit and i love it.

granted i live in Germany and built this car purely for DDing on the autobahn to and from work, but still its great.

the turbo does have some lag but as long as you are in the right gear at the right rpm it will spool just fine.

We haven't installed one on a RHD beetle actually, so I can't say with confidence that it will fit your car.

My only concern would be firewall clearance. Drop me an email if you'd like to speak in depth about this: clay@ctsturbo.com

    Dear Santa,
this Christmas I would like the followings:
    A BT KIT!
Ok here's a scoop guys, Rudolph developed a drinking habit (that red nose isn't magic...) so Santa had to switch to a Eurovan diesel for deliveries. Unfortunately it's pretty cold around the north pole and Santa has no electricity to plug his van in. Save your car the deception when she finds that out on the faithful morning and order from www.ctsturbo.com , we ship everyday, worldwide and no matter the weather!

Got a great deal here on vwvortex for a CTS 50 trim t3/t4 kit with less then a 1000 miles on it! running a 630 gonzo tune for about 3000 miles now. let me tell you, anyone who loves H.P. and getting thrown back in your seat in your 1.8t should go with clay's setup

Everything that i have used from CTS has been top quality and fits like a glove

I have been a ASE tech for over 10 years now and have been in touch with clay for years now. between my AUDI 2.7tt and my new'ish 20th A.E. VW GTI, he has ALWAYS been there when i had any question or concern's!

Exactly, you'd need the kit, software, injectors and a good fmic. Rods would be a good plan if you wanted to push the car to the limits
