So has the issue with the CEL and the down pipe been sorted out yet? I am interested in picking up a stage 3 but, I wanted to see if anyone has paired this with the c2 400 software. Any codes? just looking for more info. basically.

So I've decided that this is the kit I want in my car. I have half of the money for the kit, tune, injectors already put aside. Two more months at most until the R fund can support the purchase.

CELs arise from the software, there are ways around the CEL from various software providers.

Based on what I have seen here the CEL is a result of the O2 sensor position isn't it? The more I read it seems that the main reason this is an issue is because the off the shelf fueling solutions expect O2 sensors pre-turbo.
Now the design of your manifold seems to make it difficult for this with the almost individual tubes from each exhaust port and the collector not being big enough or centralized for 2 tapped and drilled bungs.
I guess I have to ask, how hard would it be to modify the manifold to fit O2 sensors off the shelf and avoid this completely?
for a new turbo offering to the R32 crowd.

Found this in another thread.

If they did it correctly you shouldn't have any problems.
I have welded o2 sensor bungs on mine.

Also are you keeping SAI.
if you do, you might want to machine grooves in the face of the manifold.

So follow up question... any plans to offer this in the manifold off the shelf ?

Pairing C2 software with this kit would NOT give you CEL's....not b/c we have turned them off, but because we have specific R32 Tunes that accomodate this setup.
Please let me know if there is anything we may help with.

shouldnt have to pay for install specially if you have help...
injectors are about $70
and software is about $ 500-800
and then the clutch is a different story haha i will tell you what happens there havent upgraded yet....
but i can tell you i was extreamely satisfied with the stage 3 kit and it will soon have 12lbs of boost. curtasiy of a meth setup, hpa cvp short runner, front lsd, and whichever clutch setup i deside to go with.
