I have a ton of Discount's around me. But even they can't get the 512 in a 215. I got the 512 225's shipped to me from DTD for $93/tire.

Yea it was a comical jab at you guys. No one can deny these cars don't look mint taken down the "stance" path and done right, like you guys do. Like you said I just enjoy my R a different way. I always like to check this threasd for wheel ideas.. I see ppl's sigs saying "I ruined a racecar", nope you just made it yours..

If we didnt chase track data and cornering ability, and your guys didnt hunt for a few more mm's in ride height and stance here and there, what the hell would we do with ourselves.. haha

does your state have any alternative plate designs? Ruins the overall look of your car.

Did you try hiding the plate behind the lower center bumper insert?

no i never tried it, i always thought that it would get me pulled over right away because something is blocking the view of the plate. cops around me tend to be big d-bags sometimes

Yeah, that might be a problem in some states.
So far, I didnt have a problem here in WA.
The plate is still perfectly visible from a distance.

Yeah. This is a shot from close up. When you are further away, you can see the plates clearly.
Also, people will say that it effects the cooling of the car. Honestly, thats BS. Any effect is negligible.

Car came with the plate bracket, I really wanna take it off and go to a body shop and have the whole bumper painted, but doing work on the car while trying to buy a house and saving for a wedding is not a easy task...

That absolutely would not fly in any state as the plate is not clearly visible and is being obstructed by something. Same reason why plate covers are illegal haha

Except for zipties holding it on for inspection stickers...3years 4months with no front plate. I've literally cut it off after getting the sticker and before leaving the station hahaha.

All in all, one ticket for it, and only because I was pulled over for something else and the officer saw my plate in the glove compartment when I reached over for my paperwork.

It flies in my state. And here, nobody cares about plate covers, as long as you are not being a$$ to the cop.
