Couple current pics for the people who don't read the whole thread and keep telling me to lose the wing, or do other things that are already finished

New Username means it's finally time for a real build up thread. Don't expect too much though, she's still pretty mild.
    After the first wash/wax

Got some smoked markers and Joeyed the headlights.

Installed Megan Racing DP and exhaust.

Got it chipped soon after that. APR 93, loving it still.
Needed to buy new tires, decided I might as well get new wheels too so I wouldn't have to buy tires twice. Budget was small though so Flik Arctics were decided on. I still need some wheel spacers. I'd like to some day upgrade to some Mams or tracer tech2.

Still want to get some VW centercaps for them.
Picked up some TT style pedals, red stitched park brake, and Polo gti shift knob.

    Newsouth boost gauge/pod

Then over the winter I pony'd up for some coils.

FINALLY installed them several months later (winter lasts way way too long here...)
Front spun all the way down. Rears all the way down but with perches still in.

Grabbed an ebay TIP and a billet DV from Pwrhaus. After a few hours of frustration and swearing...

New pictures pending a wash and borrowing of a nice camera.

Future plans include removing rear wing (bolted on, need holes welded shut) :headbang: Either a plain non-cutout rear valence and turndown tips, or if funds allow, 20th rear with cutout filled. 20th front valence, new headunit, hopefully some sort of double din navi unit. Small stereo upgrade (probably just one 10" sub, stock monsoon speakers are fine for me).

Well thanks for looking! Any comments/complaints are welcome. I'll be updating this with new additions if/when they come

It's bolted on so I'd need to get the holes welded/painted which I got quoted about $500 for. I'm sure I could find it for cheaper but I'd rather spend the money on other things first. Though maybe I'll pull it off and just plug the holes for now...

Well being bored at work... I just went and pulled it off. Looks better already!. I think it was done by an amateur because the area where the holes were drilled is kind of buldged out. Going to get some plug tonight till I decide what I want to do. Might get an OEM 20th/R32 but I'm really liking the naked look.

everything is starting to look good.

i'd say if you can get some bigger wheels, go 18's because the wheels look to small for your car.

I've only got camera phone to work with ATM. Might wash it and snap some tomorrow. I'm hopping to find some little black nylon plugs to fill the holes for a while to keep water out.

that works, but you're gonna end up with rainwater inside your hatch unless you plug it somehow

We've had an unusual ammount of rain for the area lately so everything is dirty and gross

    Spoiler OFF!

Pshop I did, trying to decide if shaving the hatch emblem is worth the extra $200

(man I really need to buy a decent camera... or learn how to properly use the girlfriends D70...

Looks better without the wing, and the pshop looks good too, better if you delete the wiper.

Man, I just shelled out $40 for the mkV look wiper lol. We get alot of snow here and I actually get alot of use of of it. Guess I could get a plug and shave it for the summers or something.

Yeah, I miss them but they were in really bad shape. plus now that I've got koni coils, I don't think they go low enough to pull off 17s.

Low??? I'm not sure I'm hearing this right lol. Maybe you are refering to the height of the rocker panels or something? I'm parked in some wear spots in the asphalt. Might make it look lower, but there is still quite a bit of wheel gap IMO.
