That's a meaty midrange. How is driving around day to day? Any problems with traction?

This is the very first Stage 3 touchscreen Labonte setup done in the country on an FSI car, and the results were simply amazing.
You are welcome, we appreciate you making the trip up and letting us work on your car. I am glad the results were beyond my original expectations. By the way, how is your face? Your smile last night was huge.

I dunno how my face feels yet....I'll let you know when I stop smiling![]()
Seriously though, I love the way the car feels and I was blown away by the way the car responded to the meth and your custom tune. It was awesome seeing the car put up consistent numbers dyno run after dyno run, even when we kept hot lapping it. Now I just gotta learn how to play with the touchscreen doohickie.
Thanks again buddy!

Yeah, its very easy to break traction but I've adapted my driving style to try to minimize it. I think I got to get an LSD soon. Day to day driving feels great...its a k04 so its pretty close to a smooth stock feeling, it just spools up a little harder and doesn't die early out like the k03.

Link to this water/meth setup your using? How is it different from a snow performance kit running off a boost signal?
#10
http://www.swiftmotorsports.co...afa4aThe thing that makes this system so awesome is the Injection MAP for Meth is built off of Injector Duties. Not Just Boost.
So heres the scenario, 50% throttle 10lbs of boost. Need Meth?
90% Throttle 10lbs of boost need meth?By building the map for the meth spary off off Injector duty you are more likely to be spraying the meth only when it is needed and not using meth uncontrollably. Secondly you can build a better daily driving map and really dial in the correct amounts of water/meth for every scenario.
Please, any questions feel free.
Matt
#11
Does that display boost pressure or meth injection pressure?
#12
That is a "touch screen" display,Yes it displays boost, Inj. Duty, and Meth spray
You will have this information on display real time.
#13
damn that thing owns. Mattz tunez own ha ha i need to go back and get my stg1 retuned, ive been slacking. Killer numbers makes me want a ko4 now.

Matt,
I'm currently running the snow performance w/m kit. I have the option to run it off of boost or maf signal, currently i am running off of boost. Can i purchase this controller separately and will it work with my snow performance kit? I would rather not have to buy a whole new kit just to be able to use the screen.
#16
http://www.swiftmotorsports.co...afa4aYou can buy it here. This is the stage 3 CVontroller and is available for an upgrade to all systems. The pump and the kits are similar, the magic is in this controller!!!!
Its only $269 for this upgrade.

Matt,
Mind if i give you guys a call on monday? I have a few technical questions regarding the system.
#19
What are the specs on your K04 kit? I see it says KMD but what about upgrades like injectors and hpfp and such
#20
OP: Do you have pictures of where and how the controller is mounted inside your car?

Kit comes complete with factory Borg Warner K04, CAI, DV relocate(optional factory DV adapter), hardware, gaskets, custom discharge adapter, silicon hoses, high flow FSI injectors and KMD's exclusive high capacity fuel pump upgrade kit.

Revo Stage 3
Thanks. I hope you get great #'s as well but honestly the best part about the meth is that you can consistently hit those same #'s....the car pulls hard every time.

....as far as installation, there is a small black usb type wire coming out of the steering column that plugs in the back.

Where does the controller plug into to receive a signal for the injector duty cycle?

I heard from someone that he went to another dyno to back up the results here. Care to Share?

how difficult is it to tune one of these controllers? i've been pretty dissatisfied with my snow controller's inaccurate start and full spray psi settings, but this seems like a very capable substitute!
