A7, Sportback, R8 Spyder & A5 Cab Drawings from Audi Design Hit the Web + Exclusive News from 4T

Originally published by Auto Motor und Sport, Audiblog.nl has a set of drawings from Audi design that hint at several upcoming models. The images include shots of the A7 four-door coupe, A7 Sportback (5-door version), an R8 Spyder and A5 Cabriolet.

We called around to get some intel on the cars depicted in the images and here's what we've gleaned...

A5 Cabriolet - an S version was caught recently doing PR photo duty in California. It was originally set to be shown at Paris back in September but was bumped. We expect it to drop at the L.A. Auto Show in November.

R8 Spyder - We expect it soon. This is the second such drawing from Audi of the car and we're told it's a full convertible by a high-placed source. The back will be much like the Gallardo Spyder in the way it functions.... i.e. no targa version as has been hinted or has was left possible based on mules spied at the Nurburgring.

A7 4-Door Coupe - Here's an exclusive bit of news you haven't seen yet so take note. We hear this car may drop at January's Detroit Auto Show, possibly in concept form. We'd heard the RS5 would drop there but now we're not so sure. We don't see both getting the Detroit slot, but you never know. Our intel says A7, and the source on RS 5 was Automotive News.

We've heard a few interesting things about the A7. It will likely make use of the new 4.0T FSI twin turbo when it goes into full production. The turbos will be mounted atop the engine to maximize use of space. Also, the interior will mark a new standard for Audi, raising the bar even further than before.

A7 Sportback - Yes, a 5-door version is planned for Europe. It's unlikely this model would come to the USA, but it is definitely in the cards for Europe.

Some kids down the block (I can not prove it) used some crayons on my wifes hood. Its fine I am selling the car. Most of the crayon came off with a good washing. There is still a little left. I have tried using a clay bar to remove the last bit but it didn't work. Any ideas for removing this?
