    i cant wait to see more production based racing. Protoypes are cool but not as interesting as seeing cars that you can buy on the track.

    There is plenty of production raced racing similar to this; I don't know where you're looking. (ALMS, Grand Am, Speed World Challenge, Koni, etc)

    Yeah but no true exotics like Murc's, Gallardos, R8's, 911TT, Carrera GT's, 599's, GTR's, ZR1's, SLR's, c63 Black Series, Zonda's, Konegseiggggggggg etc.

    Go look at FIA GT3 class and you'll see Gallardos, R8's(next year), Mustangs, Porsches, Ferrari, Ascaris, Jaguar, Aston Martin. The same folks behind the FIA GT 97 cars are behind the GT3 class(Stephane Ratel). Also the GT3 class is set possibly to be the new GT2 class w/the ACO quite possibly. That's all up in the air since the current GT1 cars are dying off.
