    Thanks guys!

The way I made my shift boot was as follows:
I took my oem shift boot off, laid it flat so it looks like a triangle. Cut two pieces of fabric a tad bit bigger than the size of the shift boot flat then sowed them together at the seam. Flip the new sown fabric inside out so the threads/seam is not exposed and inside. Slip it over your stock shift boot and reinstall it. That's the simplest way to do it. If you take note to lining up the plaid on the fabric when sowing it will come out better and the tighter you sow the better. Anymore questions feel free to ask I hope this helped!

    Cool thanks man.

Any recommendations or tips on lining up the headliner to the b pillars. By that I mean that the plaid will line up. I guess do the headliner first?

Yeah if your doing headliner and pillars than definitely do the headliner first

$22 a yard. That's only about 1 yard, maybe 1.5 if you need extra.

Usually headliner, pillars and some extra for like a shift boot or arm rest comes out to 4 yards, if you want to do everything in your car then 5-6yards
