Folks, if you look a little above in the thread, that account has been banned already.

The trick with these IM spammers is that they log on, use a script to send hundreds or thousands of IMs, and then log off.

As soon as people start noticing the IMs ,we ban them.

However, if they've already sent the IM to you, as soon as you log on, it pops up, even if we've already banned the account. Pain in the butt, but no way around it.

Could we get a "banned spammers" list added to the first post of this thread? it would make it easier than trying to read through these copy and pastes of near identical IMs to see who its from.

For spammers who are posting threads, the quickest way to get rid of them is to use the report post to moderator function and one of us will get it. We have people report IM spammers in here because there is no automated way to report that in our current forum software.
