I'll jump in here to keep this thread alive. First came into Trance back in the 90's through MTV Amp'd believe it or not. Traveling around europe really opened my eyes to just how much was out there. Seen all the big dj's multiple times, but nowadays find myself bumping the old stuff so much more.

Still listen to all the Oakenfold, Tiesto, Solarstone etc podcasts, but new pure trance that isn't eurotrashed out or ghey is hard to come by.

For some reason, no matter how much people talk down on trance/progressive, I can't stop listening to it. I do agree that most of the trance released nowadays sound the same. Such a shame there's not more modern choonheads in here. Nine years seem so insignificant when people start throwing out techno tracks from the 80's/90's.

Nice track. Sounds like something that would be a fight theme song in Assassin's Creed or Devil May Cry.

United Beats - Por Que No (Alex Megane vs. Marc van Damme Remix). In 2000, this song along with Insomniac, Silence, Zombie Nation, Xpander, and My First Love are what did it for me. From then on, I was hooked.

Well there are different kinds of trance, but primarily i like 90's trance. Here's another few i like. I really dont like alot of mixes played now, so i usually find my music by just browsing through Youtube.

I can't listen to new trance, its so bad. 90's trance was pretty good, specifically the guys on the Global Underground label like Sasha/Digweed/Nick Warren etc. This song was amazing on Sasha's GU Ibiza.

I'm a huge fan of the 90's stuff too. Probably because that's when I first heard and got into the music. I also like where Trance has gone and look forward to where it goes from here!

This Simon Patterson song is on my Youtube playlist and I probably listen to it at least once a day! It starts off techie but the break and keys at 3:11 are amazing and the drop at 4:50 is sooooo good!

I love trance and house. This year I have been to Sensation White, Ultra and Ibiza.

    My favorite of the moment:

Old school Bach on steriods! (Get to see Ferry in tomorrow at LIV!)

    Listen to this on a $$$ stereo (Esp. 3:45 - 5:00)!

I like breakbeats. Acid breaks. Take it back to the late 90's for trance.

Thanks for sharing those vids! I really liked the second track a lot.

If you like uplifting trance then you've probably already heard this track but if not be prepared for your mind to be blown
It starts to get good at 3:02

A nice remix of a timeless track

awesome track by some NYC locals...

Dash Berlin never disappoints with his remixes...

Saw Ferry open with this track a year ago, Im liking this remix....

    jaren....nuff said.

enough vocals time for some straight up beats

finish it off with a classic...from 2002 when Tiesto actually was a good dj and played good music, and well ferry still doing his thing...

Need detailing work done, PM me...located in central jersey!
