Hey everyone!! I just found this thread. I've been trying to find VW people since I moved down to Slidell a little over a year ago. I have an '08 Jetta 2.5 with a few small mods.

I am in need of some one with a VAG-Com that I can use to reset my Air Bag light. I had to replace the clock spring because the horn stopped working and it caused the air bag and the ESC to throw error codes. It's all better now but need a VAG-Com turn off the stupid Air Bag light and the Stealership wants 110 bucks to hook it up.

If you can help or just want to do a GTG please let me know.

I've ridden in several bagged vw's. From the north east. If you want your car done professionally, I would suggest Drew Dorbritz in Texas. Great work for pretty good prices.

I had considered that. My wife's family lives about an hour away from Dorbritz's place. Still trying to figure out if I want to do that or attempt the install with the help of some friends who are extremely mechanically inclined.

Did the air suspensions seem much stiffer/worse than a stock ride?

Air suspension "feel" is dependent on the quality of the components and in what manner they are install. Even if you have someone "professional" install the kit, it will come down to the controller and hardware.

They have random meets. Nothing really collaborated. I show up to the Thursday nights on college drive if a fun car is running that day.

Fleurobahn is kinda active.
