As you can see... that's well over a month ago. After calling no less than 5-8 times a week since then I've had to regive them my VIN no less than 3 times and they still have no clue whats going on with the damned key.

I'm going in tomorrow afternoon to turn in the keyfob part they gave me and demand my money back and then go to Hewlett or somewhere else to get the key as well as my sunroof drains cleaned out (Thanks class-action lawsuit!).
its called a complaint to the better business bureau....

Nah.. no complaints here. Went in and they explained and showed me the problem with their computer system they had. Key order got cancelled/deleted as soon as it was entered in the system. They reordered and it should be there tomorrow if they were right when i called today.

Buy all of the following from the internet: Plugs (They only last ~50k, get OEM NGKs!), same with coil packs (seriously they are like 8-12 ea now or something stupid cheap), fuel filter, and air filter. 1stVWparts usually has pricing.

Wait for stuff to show up, then replace. "Tune up" complete

Brian, send me an email or get my number from Shawn/Eric. I just realized I had a PM or two from you and I don't trust replying to it with this new forum.

asstap (and the springs on the side) are in the process of finding a new home. I'm not even going to mention what I'm looking at because I'll be shunned. Bottom line: warranty, and something newer with the kids and new job in play. job = travel (alot). As always, affordability is always a key note. There's a few VW's in town, but closest dealership is 2 hours away. Timing belt and other heavy maintenance needs to be done, and just not having it. I know it's supposed to be part of the "love", but it's just not a good time right now. Local mom and pop shops won't have anything to do with a VW "Volkswagen? What's that? I've never seen one of those before" so she's up for adoption.
You are giving up on the Passat????? Should have had me do the work on it before you all left. You know I like rebuilding old skool.

Joe!!!! Aaron is on leave from June 12-27. Don't have anything planned here, and would be a great opportunity to visit in TX. Let us know what's going on, hopefully we can catch up.

what you got??? a VR with what?? Turbo? Super Charger?

      IMO

If not forced inducted or HUGE CAMS no need for a Dyno Tuning...... waste of money... if you are wanting a Dyno of your car then that is different...

psssh don't listen to the 1.slow owner....

Seriously though the only thing you'll gain is a higher rev limiter and a few more ponies (5-12) C2 has done some cool stuff lately with cam timing and our VVT which has produced decent power in R32s with cams over GIACs cam flash.

If you're staying NA get some TT cams, and a c2 flash with an intake(Evoms V-flow), still won't break 200whp but it will keep up with 1.8Ts better and be more fun to drive.

But it will all work out. If its not one thing its another...
