    THE LOWDOWN:

Upgrading your factory lower "dog bone" mount helps to reduce your MK4, Beetle, TT, or R32's wheel hop to a minimum, as well as improving your car's throttle response and shifting. The Prothane Polyurethane 2-piece "Dog Bone" Lower Tranny Mount Kit replaces your soft factory OEM mount and is a more heavy-duty solid mount that assists in reducing engine bucking under load. If you're just getting into a MK4, Beetle, TT, or R32 and are looking to do upgrades, this is one of the first that should be done. Ask any buddy that's already done it - they make a good amount of difference!

    HOW TO ORDER:

Click HERE to place your order for the Prothane Polyurethane Tranny Mounts for just $24.95 with free shipping!

Yeah, I can see that. Good call. But how exactly is that related to tranny mounts?

Shipping is free on these so you can place your order right off the site and it should ship out in the morning. As far as your flywheel order goes, you can always login to our site and see the status of the order. "In Transit" would refer to the order as being shipped and on its way to you.

    your IMs are turned off.

How does this compare to the BFI inserts. Would this be considered a stage 1 or stage 2. Not sure where the 85A falls.

This is my daily driver so I want to be sure it's not too stiff.

Glad to hear everyone has been happy with their mounts. Keep the orders comin' - we're looking to save up for our own MK1 TT as a project here!

    Just some feedback.
My TT is my daily driver and the rattle under 1500rpm is starting to get to me. Not sure if my 42DD dp is making this worse or not.

If you have thoughts - please let me know.

What exactly is your question? Is your inquiry related to these mounts? Did you install a set of these?

Okay so I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this before I get my clutch replaced, my question is, like someone here originally asked, the number for stiffness you provided, what stage is that? 1, 2, 3?

    Thanks!

    Its my DD.
