    Sounds like you have way too much engine movement. I would suggest at least installing the dogbone mount insert.

    I remember when I got under there to install my insert. I was able to move the engine quite a bit while using a breaker bar to loosen the stock bolt. Once the insert was installed the engine did not move at all no matter how much force I used with the breaker bar.

    It's a cheap mod that should take care of your issue. Although now that I think about it I can' t imagine how the DP could snap with the flex tubing near the flange. That thing is VERY flexible and should allow for quite a bit of play.

    Snapped bolt that holds dogbone mount to the tranny (not the bolt holding the insert in, but the other end)

    Snapped under normal driving conditions while dogbone mount insert was installed.
