    Thread: pin out diagram for the cluster

      doing a mk4 dash swap into my mk3,
      So if you guys can help me and post the pin out will help me a lot.

      best thing to do is to get elsawin and figure it out yourself. I could do it easily but it would take me 3-4 hours of trawling through diagrams to get you all the pin outs. Sorry but I ain't doing it.

      Buy the Bentley manual for the MK4; you'll need it.
      That has the complete pinout for the ECU, the cluster, and everything else...

      I know, but.....

      The elsawin system doesn't show a single diagram for the cluster. You'd have to search every section for all the wires going to the T32a and T32 connectors. That's 64 different wires and I have no idea how many different diagrams it would be though. I'd need to be pretty bored to just dig them up for someone.

      I'm sure someone somewhere has already done it though.

      oo because the mk3 is simple,And i only need to wire 14 wires out of those 64...

      Now which of these power the little red trip? because mine seems to be fading away im guessing the wire is getting a bad connection?

      thank you very much man,I see theres a few nice ppl on the mk4 forum =]
      maybe ill join you guys soon,but my idea is kinda questioned by me,if i ever get a mk4 but hey,maybe is doable.

      One thing im wondering is,If my cluster is going to be looking like xmas since im not going to be using many features.

      Yes, but you can easily create powered "by-pass" circuits.

      so anything new happened?

      I am thinking on swapping my mk3 cluster with an mk4 one.. I already test fitted it.. and with a bit of modification you can make it fit
