My wheels actually fit the application. I am not one for running adapters. I understand if the wheels are not made in our fitment (mk4) and you just want to run that wheel or style really bad.. but there are plenty out there that fit.

I didnt mean trade but get rid of them, lol.

We got the passat for Beth. 1993 Passat VR6, auto trans, 130,000 miles, heated seats... Basically the perfect swap car for her. I cleaned the garage up in preparation for the tear down and re-construction. I'm hoping Bobby comes through on buying the 16v and carbs so I can start this project off on the right foot.

Anyone want some ugly chrome 17" wheels in 5x100?! Lol. The wheels this baby comes with are blingy!!

Chains and guides, rear main seal, full coolant refresh (not metal on the crackpipe, sorry), plugs and wires, transmission filter and seal, BFI motor mounts, and a suspension refresh with oem rubber bushings. The car should basically be brand new when I'm done. Why is it so easy to justify spending when it is her car??

Yeah, dash swap too. I'll have to for an easy conversion to A/C in the car. Plus then I get the correct tach, a working MAF in the cluster, and of course all the proper heated seat switches lol. About the only thing the car won't have is power windows and power locks, but those are a headache anyway for mk2 cars.

I think I'm most excited to have a car with as many refresh parts as we are doing. The chassis is 25 years old, but literally every suspension, rolling, and braking part will be brand new. Fun project indeed!

Josh has been super stoked since I brought this home, so I took him for a couple slow circles around the culdesac today.

The original tank thats supposed to be on the bike was leaking gas, so I'm borrowing this one from Brendan until I find a replacement. It looks too small and kind of silly I know.

Just ditched the scion for a uber mom mobile. Now to track down a lift and fab a Baja bumper with four hid fogs or so. There is no after market for these things.
