just go to both tyler, on another note did you ever get your wheels back?

well i bought another car last night (go pick it up tomorrow) 97 2 door 2.0 gti. its my daily emily said if i do any mods to it she will kill me

but i just get to mod the little rabbitchaser more, i have a exhaust manifold in the works right now, have a couple people interested in my current turbo set up.

car will start getting dismantled in october head sent to machine shop for biggest valves possible along with port and polish and have it flow tested and what not,

then i will be putting a order in to integrated for over bored je pistons along with a set of rods, and probably a girdle for the bottom end.

there is a guy here in portland that builds awesome sri manifolds for the 8v so i have been trying to get with him.

trans is getting spooled no limited slip i can still drive it on the street but rare occasions.

hoping to push at least 30 psi threw it with a gt 35 turbo which should put me around 550-600 whp. we will see thought.

You should do a 6262 instead of a 35R. Yes I have my wheels back and I'll be wearing them at cars & coffee tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be getting my car up on the dyno soon for some tune time... and debating running E85 on 1000cc+ injectors and 30+psi. However, I need to get safety done first... my hookup is in Oregon.

The Porsche is going in the garage, and most likely will never come out again.

I need to get it out of the weather and finish the seals so it is at least sort of water resistant. Right now the rear seats are puddles with every rain storm, or when I wash it. Right now is a financial mess for me, and the car isn't selling, so protect it is about all I can do. Part of me hopes it will just sit in there for years and years, and one day when I actually have money I can make a triumphant return, lol.

I miss the car playing days. If I can make it out tomorrow for a few I will. I have a standing appointment on Tuesdays now at 7:30, so it has been difficult to make it out to any fun car stuff this year.

Zoe - I know I owe you for the valence. Let me square up with you this week. Thanks for letting me put it on Beth's car. I love the color matched! It needs another coat of paint, and some better fitting, but here it is on the for sale ad on ksl. Oh yeah...everything is for sale. Except the Ford Ranger. My mom already bought that from me.

lol, Thanks Zoe. My shift linkage bushings are about done... I actually lost all gears on the way up chasing down that Porsche. Good time, good time. Need to look into a nice set of updated bushings/linkage.

Just got finished with my first go fast mod, it was free and I think it netted around 20 HP, not even kidding.

I replaced a bolt that was completely gone - the one that holds on the cam position sensor.

Meet tomorrow. For sure? I have a buddy from town that just bought a mk2 golf today and just finished installing rear coilovers on it an hour ago. We plan on making it up to the meet if the is one.

Ill try. It'd be easier if it was a bit further south for me, but then again I'm not officially in Davis county so that might be it.

Looks like I will be taking the GLI back today or tomorrow for something different. Hopefully permanently. Banks say the GLI has too many miles for a 2007 GLI priced at 14k with 91,000 miles. I will probably lease a mk6 GLI, if not an SE would do...

Dude, don't get a Jetta. A Golf is so much better. I'd know, I own a Golf and am driving a Jetta because it's the loaner car VW let me borrow while they fix the Tiguan.

The new Jetta's interior is just really cheap feeling compared to a Golf.

If you want a 4 door Rabbit with 64k miles and aut trans for less than $14k, I might just know where to get one!!

We are trying to sell that Rabbit and get out of joint loans. I would be stoked to sell it. Let me know if you are at all interested.
