Thread: FS 1984 Scirocco, A vintage dream!!! LOOK

  1. 12-20-2008 10:59 PM #1
3500 firm. Need to expand my Volkswagen / Audi Repair shop
Only open to <1993 Corrado VR6 trades

Here is a Samba link, this is as perfect as it can get without a 20k+$$$ restoration. This is a un-modified rust free California car.
Dont slam my ad, Poortex'ers leave all condescending remarks to yourself, and please no bashing. Thanks for looking
CAR IS IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA - LOOKING FOR REALISTIC CASH Price of $3500.00. I HAVE NO GARAGE SPACE, AND CAN'T / WON'T PARK IT OUTSIDE.
Also, new Bilstein Sport Struts , Neuspeed Race springs, timing belt service, engine mounts, full tune up with oxygen sensor, ignition wires, cv boots, injector seals, clutch cable, battery, k bar, fresh alignment. I have put over 1000 miles on this car in the last 2 months, its been a pleasure to drive and has been completely reliable. Drive it anywhere with confidence!
    Odometer just hit 73,XXX miles
    Car needs absolutely nothing!!!
Also pictures at the end show car after Bilsteins were installed. i have the stock springs if wanted.

also this Scirocco was originally purchased in Germany and imported to the US, it was not a domestically purchased VW.... Super cool!!!! note the door jam sticker!!!

    Also I would consider 93+ corrado as trade... <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://vwvortex.com/zeroforum_graphics/snow_cool.gif" BORDER="0">

If you were closer I might be tempted to take a closer look and possibly work out some kind of deal.......

My 93 Corrado with 51K miles.

You've got a nice looking Scirocco there.

    Dan

car have cold air cond? no dash cracks?

  15. 12-24-2008 07:28 PM #15
A/c is cold, there is one crack 1/4" long on the top of the dash, but you have to look for it to find it. Meaning its not obvious, or obtrusive.
    Open to offers...

    thanks

I saw the car in person, and it is in completely AMAZING condition. One would think it has less than 10K miles on it. I was completely wowed. Only reason I don't buy is because it's TOO NICE a car to make a daily driver out of. Museum condition really.

Nice looking car and good luck with the sale. It is so strange to see that many of the early second-generation 8v cars like yours came with power windows considering the relatively spartan nature of the cars when they were produced.

  19. 12-25-2008 11:33 PM #19
Thanks, I was surprised over the windows too.

Thanks, I just may. I don't need it, and I don't need to sell it, but it sure is a fun release from my Touareg

can i have a night alone with those wheels?

  24. 01-03-2009 08:57 PM #24
Sure, but if it doesn't sell here pretty soon, they can be yours....
An old school Neuspeed BTS - 172 kit and BBS-RS wheels are destined for this S2, not to mention an Audi 2.0 short block, and period correct performance enhancements.
    Thanks!

sunny Southern California. Riverside to be exact.... an hour east of Los Angeles.

I need to redirect my focus. Open to a realistic cash offer. Serious offer would be appreciated, not refused.

I know, I traded my sons Passat at first site. Glad you remember the details of my Scirocco, believe it, or not this one is 100x cleaner! I will mort than likely hold out for that perfect 93' Unless you want to meet 1/2 way, I will bring Del Taco, or Bakers.
    Thanks Shelby, Stay Classy!

That was a low blow Shawn... But I prefer In-N-Out over Baker 10:1
