This car has been around, was owned by boomenstein AND lowblackdub many years back.
I was set to buy it back 2 years ago...after my first mk1 jetta 1.8t got written off...but he had a brief window to sell it before he (iterally) headed into the bush and would be unavailable for 3-4 months.
Anyways, its a decent buy at $3K...so for $2500 you get a mk1 jetta coupe you can't build for $5K
