so this pan should work correctly with a stock pickup tube? ie 3/8" from bottom?

edit: and what is the total capacity? dipstick still work fine?

Uses the stock pickup tube, and total capacity is 5 quarts. Dipstick will work fine because you're not changing the depth of the dipstick. The pan isn't any deeper, its just kicked out towards the back a little further for the extra capacity.

    Cheers

have you thought about modifying this for those that run girdles? It would be nice to have a pan that could mate up to the transmission housing.

Dont really need the transmission housing adapter as some VAG vehicles did not even use them.Whatever the case we can make an adapter to bolt to the bell housing and these pans clear the Eurospec or INA girdle main stud nuts with no issues.

You did, since I help INA out with things, and you also didn't specify who you wanted an answer from.

This looks like a generic catch all question without being directed at a specific person.

this is hard track sessions, if u are going for high speed corners..with plenty of Gs....a second of oil depreviation and yr engine is going to be in trouble..

the alternative is an expensive dry sump system which I believe Issam also fabricated himself.

oil cooler is also for hard track sessions which will bring the oil temps up very quickly..

what a dilemma for u mate..I got mocal oil cooler long ago....it was hard to find an baffled oil pan like this..only available for 058 engines for the longest time by shrick..and neuspeed..

The pan is designed to be 10mm shorter in height but the real key here is the sheet metal design that will bend when you drive over a rock or small child ...NOT CRACK.
