Are there any pictures are pricing on the steel pan. What is the ground clearance with the steel and aluminum pans vs the OEM pan and the OEM hybrid pan for a 1.8T?

We have a few up on our facebook page. To answer your questions:
    1. The oil pan height brings the base of the pan about 5mm from the mouth of the oil pump pick up. It is shallower than the OEM pan but we do not use this as a factor in marketing the pan.
    2. Both the aluminum and steel pan are the exact same dimensionally.
    3. The OEM hybrid pan is the biggest joke / mistake VAG ever made. We started changing them out on customers cars last winter , expecting the same (or more) this winter as the salt eats right through the plate and bolts. It is a poor excuse for an OEM replacement and even IF you hit a block of ice , the plate may bend BUT the pan will crack.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't able to locate pictures on your fb page however. Is pricing set for the steel pan?

Those are actually 06a pans not o6f but you get the idea. Due to the oil pump and balance shafts of the 06f, the baffling had to be modified.

I have this pan, works great,

but you need to drill a hole on the plate that you screw on, for the dipstick...

That was an early version. The new ones are built in Ottawa now and are prefitted and such before shipping.
    Loving the new build though
